We have worked with Fraher Architects on many projects for the past 3 years. They are always very professional and such a pleasure to work with. I have photographed several of Fraher Architects' finished projects. The quality of their design thinking and the workmanship they achieve on their builds leaps out as soon as you walk into one of their houses. The clients of theirs that I have met seemed really satisfied with the process and the results. Their ability to offer in-house construction and joinery services means they have a real 360-degree understanding of the journey to a finished project: they aren't just going to draw up a fancy design and leave it to others to solve the problems in getting it built. I sense they are destined for great things, so get in there quick if you can.

Fraher architects were fantastic with the design and project management of the build of our house renovation. As well as being experts in their field and having innovative design ideas they were super reliable and professional throughout. We have recommended them to many people since.

We had a difficult refurbishment project to get the best design from an existing footprint and do it cost effectively. We had previously worked with another architect but were not making any progress. Joe and his team brought some good energy and creative ideas to the project and we are very happy with the final outcome. They also helped us run the building contractor selection process.

HOUZZ REVIEW The project was a complete refurbishment on a tall and thin victorian home ( House of Townscape Merit in a Conservation Area) leaving only the outside walls remaining while extending laterally and down. We also wanted to create an eco “passive house” that was soundproofed. Joe and lizzie Fraher won a competitive bid process due to their ability to quickly tune into what we were trying to achieve, while demonstrating they could add immense value with a great combination of creative insights and practical knowledge. Their creative scenarios had a real “wow” factor opening our minds to possibilities that we had not thought of. They also combined wonderful ideas as to how we could make maximum use of a small footprint. They were also prepared to project manage the complete process from planning application through tender development, contractor selection and management to final contractual sign off snagging and building reg. approvals. This was a 12 month project with a significant budget. The project was delivered on time and on budget with few variations due to very extensive detailed planing in the tender process and close management of the main and other contractors. Post completion issues were also closely managed. At no time did Fraher “sign off” or become less engaged as other projects took priority. They were always available and committed to achieving 100% customer satisfaction at every stage. But most importantly the creative architectural input was at all times impressive, invariably providing alternative scenarios while creating an open balanced dialogue which always resulted in an outcome that exceeded our expectations within sensible budget parameters. Their input was always presented in a pragmatic and flexible way resulting in a relationship where we felt we were all working together to achieve our aspirations. They took the stress out of the design and implementation process making the whole experience from start to finish both enjoyable and rewarding.
