From the very beginning Grant was very responsive and professional - anything that I picked in terms of the flooring and carpeting he was able to use his sources to get a better price. Every detail was covered. Once the work started I decided to stay home from work just to make sure that George and Grant didn't need anything from me but after a couple of days I could see that I was definitely not needed and that these guys really know how to get the job done. Everything was finished on time and the furniture was all moved back neatly into place. I really have nothing but great things to say about Grant and George and would definitely recommend them.

These guys were hands down the best contractors I've ever hired. They worked with me to research a solution to a flooring problem I had in my basement. None of the other contractors who bid on the project were willing to do that. The installation was perfect and their attention to detail was obvious. Every time an issue came up during the installation, they found a workable solution. I can't say enough good things about my experience with this company.

Grant and George did a great job installing our floors. We had hardwood floors installed throughout our first floor townhome. Grant was very patient with us and answered all of our (many) questions as we decided on a flooring. He was very transparent with pricing, providing a detailed quote. He was responsive to emails, and communicated when running late. The work was done very well, with a good explanation of what they were doing and great attention to detail. The new floors look great. Really great company to work with.

Grant responded via email to my request for an estimate. He set up an estimate for the following weekend and arrived on time. He listened to our needs regarding the stairs and provided appropriate, common sense solutions. We also liked how the company didn't work with just one distributor or store, but was flexible in regards to where to purchase tile supplies. An estimate was sent quickly via email and a start date three weeks later was scheduled. A week was blocked off to complete the work. Prior to their arrival, Grant kept me in the loop as to the status of the tile, other options, as well as address concerns that I had. Grant and another installer arrived on time to begin the work. They were there for all five days, working steadily the whole time. Both were very mindful of cleaning up. They were also mindful of my cats, who were very interested in what they were doing. Everything went as it should and the result was exactly what I wanted. I could not had asked for better workmanship. Everyone just loves it! They also completed a tile backsplash in my kitchen and that work was perfect as well. 858 Flooring will definitely be working on my other tiling and flooring projects as I get to them!

Grant is fair, honest, pays attention to detail, listens to what you say and offers a lot of helpful suggestions. We are working on our 3rd job with with Grant, a bathroom make over, we are so glad we found him.

All aspects of the job were performed superbly. The workmanship was excellent and meticulous. The job was very well planned out before the first board was placed which made the new floor fit in well with the adjacent flooring. All of the work was done with precision and everything fit very well. The inevitable "problems" that pop up during these kind of jobs were quickly identified and adjustments were made to ensure that the completed job would look professional and not have any clunky "band aids. Attention to detail was a hallmark of the work performed. Things like arriving on time every day, completing the work in the scheduled time frame, cleaning up thoroughly at the end of each day, protecting furniture and surfaces from saw dust, packing up left over materials for storage, and removing waste materials. 858 Flooring has high quality workmanship combined with overall professionalism that makes them an excellent choice for any home remodeling job.

It was great working with 858 Flooring. Grant Rowan owns the company, did the estimate himself, and did the work himself with a second guy. Grant was very quick to schedule a time for an estimate and to provide the actual estimate. I appreciated that his estimate broke out the cost for various portions of the install. I especially appreciated that he indicated what materials I would provide (40 sq ft of tile, 10 lb grout, basically the parts of the floor that you can see), and what he would provide (cement board, thinset). Other estimates I got were all-inclusive and did not indicate what kind of tile or grout would be used, or how much cost allowance was being provided for those items. Grant charged $681 for install and supplies, and I provided tile, grout, and molding costing about $230, for a total cost of $911. Other estimates I got were $950 (2 estimates), $2000, and $3000. Grant provided suggestions about the project, while leaving the ultimate decisions up to me. He was willing to work with the tile I picked out, rather than requiring me to buy from particular suppliers. He responded quickly to my questions on email and did the work exactly when we scheduled it for. I was concerned about the state of the underlying sub-floor, and he discussed the issues thoroughly. The floor looks amazing. I couldn't be happier with it.

This was by far one of the best home improvement projects I have ever experienced. Grant Rowan of 858 Flooring and his partner, George, went above and beyond what we contracted them to do. When they demolished our kitchen floor there were some unknown issues and they took care of them. Grant stayed at our home well into the evening until the job was completely finished. Their price was fair and the job was done in a professional manner. I highly recommend 858 Flooring and I would not hesitate to use their services again.

We were extremely happy with the work that 858 Floors did for us. I shopped around to about 4 different flooring companies and none of them provided the same level of detail in their estimates. Grant included the cost of every material and portion of labor, which is the only way you can really compare the cost of the types of flooring you're choosing from. Other companies just provided a flat rate or offered only limited options of flooring. Grant seemed to be able to get most any hardwood and carpet we saw in showrooms at a competitive price. I also liked that they were able to install the new vanity and toilet we chose in the half bath they were putting hardwood in. Several other companies required coordinating with a plumber. Grant was also more responsive through email than probably any contractor I've ever worked with. He was extremely patient with my questions about types of flooring and certain details with shoe molding, flush mount vents, and our kitchen appliances, etc. He always got back to me within the same day and responded to every question or request I had. Grant and George worked for 4 days and were always prompt, polite, and respectful or our home. They had to remove several layers of various types of flooring the previous owners had installed. They were even patient when my small kids got in the way a few times! Would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone! Their level of customer service is hard to find!

Used 858 Flooring and Remodeling to remove my existing floors in my townhome and install LVP. These guys were booked out a few months but had amazing reviews. I decided to wait for them and boy am I glad I did. They were AMAZING! We absolutely love our new floors and they made quick work of it. They quoted 3-4 days and were done early. Their attention to detail and workmanship were top notch. I'd definitely hire them again and we're so satisfied with how they turned out!
