Working with Brett Terpeluk was a very creative exchange. He has excellent design sense and worked with the starchitect Renzo Piano for many years. He has an excellent sense of new materials, and believes in building a sustainable environment. We did a wonderful remodel of an old office flat into a contemporary residential space and it is exquisite. You will not regret working with Brett.

Studio Terpeluk surpassed all expectations of a smooth sailing job. They provide solid architectural services but have an amazing eye for design that is functional yet innovative. Private home renovations are always challenging, especially when the house has some architectural provenance, as ours is, which demands a mature and well-versed artist who is also technically strong. StudioTerpeluk was hired to help guide the restoration and modernization of a piece of architectural history: Beverly Thorne’s 1959 Adamson House in the Berkeley Hills. Brett worked closely with me, bringing great respect for original design, while also helping to discover ways to improve upon it with minimal alterations. Each day brought a new appreciation for Throne’s work, and Brett brought new way to solve the problems inherent in any design and restoration project. With a bachelor’s degree in architecture of my own, I could have been Brett’s nightmare client, yet he handled my concerns and design ideas with great sensitivity and professionalism, always listening, always creating, and in the end delivering the best solutions available. With the interior completed, I look forward to working with StudioTerpeluk on the exterior phase of the project.

I am an interior designer and have worked with Bret Terpeluk and his studio in 3 different projects of different sizes and had an amazing experience. In the three cases he was hired by my clients after meeting him and hearing his ideas and design process after interviewing with other prospective architects.
