Mountain Energy Design LLC is a family owned and run business, dedicated to energy efficient design/construction, and the sales, installation and service, of renewable energy equipment. This includes solar, wind, hydro, and hydrogen technologies. Mountain Energy Design began in the mid ‘70’s with a solar hot water collector constructed from s alvaged plumbing from a discarded heating system and continued to evolve through 18 years of off grid solar powered living in the l ate ‘80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s. Through its parent company Mountain Woodworks, Mountain Energy Design has been serving the Champlain and Mad River Valleys since 1984.
