Ash Chimney Sweeps

A canvas tarp will be placed on the floor in front of the fireplace. All equipment is placed on the tarp, including our industrial-power vacuum that is outfitted with a HEPA filter. From the roof, the technician will scrape the chimney flue with the proper-sized brush. While on the roof the technician will examine the chimney and roof area including the flashing, chimney crown, roof tiles and eavestrough. Back inside, the damper plate will be removed, where possible, to hand-brush and vacuum the smoke chamber walls and the smoke shelf. The damper is re-installed. Finally, ashes in the firebox are bagged for your disposal in the trash, or if available, in the compost/green bin.
