We updated the first floor of our home with Laura’s help. New kitchen, dining room, family room, powder room, and stairway to the second floor, and it all turned out wonderfully. Laura was involved from the drawings through all the decision making to our fabulous final result. She is calm. And she is a keen listener. Both of these traits made the process of renovation a success. Laura’s network of great craftspeople in every trade, her knowledge of materials, and her design sense all helped us navigate the renovation. She was a tremendous help if uncertainty arose on our part. The best part of dealing with Laura was her kind spirit and the way she listened to us. Our thoughts, emails, ideas were addressed promptly. My favorite question from Laura was this one: Laura would say, “Have you thought about……….?” This question helped keep us focused on our goal and keep us practical in our wants. Each time she posed this question, she patiently filled in the blanks with product information, design suggestions, or a more cost-effective option. Laura took our design thoughts and brought them to a higher level with her expertise. She has a way of being tenacious enough to solve problems and a gift for attention to detail so that no real issues arose during the work. Laura is a knowledgeable and talented designer who takes an interest in her clients and their lifestyles. She is attentive and follows through with both clients and trades people while working on the project. Her work helped us achieve more than we ever expected with our home.

dslivingWe worked with Laura six years ago on a smaller kitchen remodel and were so pleased with that experience that when we moved we called on Laura to design and shepherd an entire remodel of our new home. From removing walls to complete redesigns of the kitchen and master bath footprints, Laura's work was innovative and has proven to be extremely livable. Laura was great to work with. She helped us design and install a kitchen and three bathrooms. We were working with some existing finishes that we wanted to keep and she worked well with those circumstances. We had some challenges using a cabinet line we had not worked with before and further challenges with the installers and she did a great job in handling all problems to the best of her ability. We would definately use her again if we do any of this type of renovation.

We hired Laura originally to do a kitchen remodel and as they say, we experienced the remodel 'creep'. Laura was so accommodating and listened to not only what we wanted but to WHO we are, which is just as important as a remodel should be a reflection of you! This was my first remodeling project working with Laura. Everything went off without a problem. The cabinet order was perfect, flooring and tile selections were delivered on time and correct, which is a good thing being a contractor. My husband and I moved from a large Chicago apartment (complete with Butler's Pantry I!) into a 50 year old Denver condominium apartment in 2013, knowing that our first project would be renovating the very outdated kitchen (some of the less than ideal features included peeling original linoleum, broken down cabinets, and a Woolworth's variety gold colored chandelier.) After visiting several units in our building where homeowners had updated the kitchen, we found one particular unit to our liking, and when told Laura Pask had done the kitchen design, we knew we wanted to work with her as well. Meanwhile, we talked with a few contractors who had worked in the building and received one very low bid, but we were not convinced this contractor would provide the quality we desired. Laura responded quickly to our request for her to bid on the design of our project and to assist in identifying a contractor to oversee the remodeling process. Laura was (is) wonderful to work with. She listened carefully to our ideas and preferences and crafted detailed drawings for the new kitchen. She identified sources for our desired combination of bamboo cabinets and cork flooring, obtained bids, and eased the purchasing process not only for these basics but also for the appliances, glass wall tile, kitchen sink and quartz countertop. We had hoped the project would be complete by July 2015 when we expected family visitors because of two family weddings in Colorado that month. Alas, the contractor we had settled on (and who had worked successfully with Laura in the past), became unavailable through no fault of Laura. Laura wisely advised we go through with our planned purchases so that when a qualified contractor became available, we would be ready to go. Through her professional design colleagues, Laura learned of John Reither Contracting, LLC and asked John to bid on the job. After successful negotiation, we engaged Reither Contracting. Laura remained actively involved, assisting with design details, and construction questions during the 5 week period of removal - to bare walls - and remodeling, with all but the 2 year old stove new to our space. During the renovation, we were away for two weeks on a long- planned trip, and Laura represented our interests with the contractor throughout our absence. Laura's plans for our space reflected our ideas as shaped through her professional knowledge, skill and aptitudes. Her flexibility and resources in identifying a highly qualified contractor served us well. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and very, very grateful to Laura Pask, designer extraordinaire.

Laura did a great job helping me design my kitchen. I was stuck on how to make it different, yet more effective in flow without disturbing a lot of major plumbing, electrical and gas lines. She came up with three designs, one of which worked pretty well and then we tweaked the one I liked best to work. She was patient and insightful and listened to what I said. She was also quick to respond to any questions or concerns, which is appreciated when you are coordinating all the various contractors and materials! I'd recommend her!

We remodeled our entire main level including flooring, fireplace, handrails, minor structural changes and kitchen. The kitchen was the big focus as we wanted to create a more usable space and add a large island suitable for dining for our family of four. My husband and I have thought about how to create an island like this while maintaining enough space for years and struggled to come up with how it would work. Laura Pask came up with the perfect plan which involved reconfiguring our existing cabinets and refrigerator and removing some cabinets. This opened up the space immensely and she was able to design an island which not only had more storage, more counter space and a dining area, but also more working space on all sides. The new island is huge but the space feels open and well planned. We just love it! Laura listened to our ideas and helped organize our priorities and how those could be accomplished most efficiently within our timeline and budget. She provided excellent resources and referrals in terms of contractors and suppliers. She managed the project and kept all the various contractors and us on task. She even delivered materials when we were too busy to pick them up. We couldn't be happier with our decision to use Laura Pask Interiors or the outcome of our project! Our home is beautiful!

Our family room was VERY outdated. We called Laura to help us pick out new cabinets. She was able to come within 2 days of calling her, she immediately had great suggestions, and had a drawing done up for us within two days. We were very pleased with the end result. I would highly recommend Laura for any interior design work.

I have worked along side Laura for over four years and admire her sophisticated style. She brings an extra level of expertise to her clients' projects because of her interior design certification which gives her the ability to focus on the whole space, instead of just cabinets.
