Commented: What material is the white deck ceiling? In most cases is just exterior type drywall. In some places they also use MGO board that uses the installation as drywall.

Commented: Dining Bay Area I would use an standard height dining set, with simple lines (no metal ornaments as shown). Like someone show on picture, the white fabric chair will look great. Change the lamp for a single bulb lamp...

Commented: Need help updating my 11 year old kitchen I would touch the kitchen, leave everything the way it is, specially cabinets and countertops. Like Flair lighting said, just change some accents and the light has to go.
