Valet Custom Cabinets & Closets - Marina Moreno

I am thrilled to share my experience with Valet Custom Cabinets and Closets, specifically with their designer Marina Moreno. I found Marina via Houzz and was very responsive when I reached out to her regarding my requirements. I had a second bedroom that I wanted to function as a multi-purpose room - study for when I am working from home, guest bedroom and additional space for storage. Marina has very good experience specifically with designing homes in San Francisco and older condos etc. where we need to optimize for space. She was able to present me with a number of options that I could choose from. I visited the Valet factory shop in Campbell and was able to see many of the options for the materials, types of cabinets and hardware. Marina also went through pricing options and worked within my budget, while still ensuring that I could have the right touches included in my options (cabinet hardware, lighting, wiring etc). The one that I was most excited about was their wall-bed. They had a number of custom options and it was great to see them in person to make a decision. Throughout the process, Marina worked with me and with the installers to ensure that everything was taken care of in a timely manner and the project completed on time. I highly appreciate her dedication to delivering a fantastic outcome and I now enjoy the room that is perfectly suited to my needs. The wall bed is something I highly recommend to everyone as it has been a space saver (added bonus that the mattress that comes with it is so comfortable as I sometimes end up using it myself)! Recently, Valet Custom even reached out to ensure that I am satisfied and that everything is going well. Very good customer service!!

I am over the moon pleased with how Marina and Valet executed my walk in closet. She was highly communicative, professional, non-judgmental (of my disaster closet mess), and genuinely nice to work with. I was clear about what was important to me and she was very creative in designing an outcome that solved many issues which my space presented (small area, random vents, internet/cable portal, irregular duct wall, ceiling attic entrance, etc.). I wouldn't hesitate to reach out again to both Marina and Valet to do another project when I have one. Because everything was custom, it still took 2 months for the materials to come in but once they arrived, the carpenters installed so quickly and efficiently and cleaned up as if they had never been in my home. It's been several weeks now and I can't help but walk by every time and think how beautiful it turned out.

I used Valet team to do our cabinets in the office ( medical space). The work they did was exceptional. Marina to start with was very thorough to do all the measurements and discuss with the team what we needed . Their team helped with color suggestions, handles and guided us all along the way. The team that did the assembly was also excellent - on time, fast and did high quality work. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Hire then and don't think twice. They are a 5 star company!

We have been impressed by Valet Custom Cabinets & Closets and working with Marina from start to finish. We now have a large storage closet with shelves and a hall tree and could not be happier with the result! Our new built-in furniture really looks like it was meant to be there and fits in so well with our space. Marina is fantastic and working with her was a joy. Her recommendations were excellent (she helped us pick out exactly what we wanted, and her materials and hardware suggestions were perfect) and we enjoyed her process. It was convenient to see our vision come to life over a video call as she adjusted her digital drawings on the fly during our conversation. She really has that special eye for design and had so much patience with us as we measured items that we wanted to fit etc. We will recommend Marina at Valet Custom Cabinets & Closets to our friends, and will absolutely work with her again if/when a new project comes up. Marina was great to work with on our 3 closets which were top/down re-dos. She was fast, super responsive and made all of the details exceedingly easy. We're thrilled with the result and will definitely be working with her and Valet on the other projects we have down the road.

It’s a pleasure to give Marina this 5-star review for her fantastic work at my new home. We gut-renovated our house and Marina created two master walk-in closets for us, and they’re both beautiful and functional. As a bachelor, I had no clue on how to design a his and her walk-in, thank God Marina did. She took great care to ask a lot of questions about how I use a closet, and devised terrific designs and accessories. Marina worked with my GC and electrician to make sure all of the lighting are properly incorporated— ours come on by motion-sensor. The masters differed in color and temperament, and Marina made perfect calls on materials and hardware (the Valet Closet showroom is outstanding, btw). My parents’ closet was designed with built-in washer and dryer, and Marina added a custom stone countertop for the laundry corner. For kicks, we also did a guest room, and incorporated a TV mounted inside. Couldn’t be happier with Marina and Valet Closet. Highly recommended!

This job was nothing short of flawless. Marina called me one day after I left a message wanting an estimate. She worked with my schedule to set up a time to meet and see the room my husband and I wanted converted into a walk-in closet. She actively listened and offered MANY, MANY good ideas as well as guidance. Everything went as planned, there were no issues at all. The crew set everything up so there would be no mess or disruption in the house. The end result was just as I imagined (fantasized). I absolutely love it and I'm thankful I went with Valet. Also, Marina was not only completely professional, she was fun
