Judi and her Moodscapes team did a wonderful job redoing the 30-year-old landscaping on our entire property, including front, side and back yards. We first talked in the fall 2018, she presented a comprehensive design in spring 2019, and, after some back and forth on the plants, the work was completed in May/June. Her team was hardworking and professional. Besides designing and planting, Judi also contracted/coordinated the installation of a new irrigation system, replacing/expanding the flagstone patio, replacing the existing fence, installing a raised vegetable bed, and installing new lighting. Since we both work, it was a big plus to have one-stop shopping. Our house is built into a ledge and has several existing rock walls and the plantings were chosen to compliment that. Judi listened carefully to our ideas and made suggestions based on her experiences over the years. We are very happy with the new look. We've also contracted with Moodscapes for ongoing maintenance, to keep things looking in top shape. After the hot summer, a couple of plants are failing and Judi has been by to assess and discuss whether to replace this fall or next spring. She's been very responsive to any concerns we have. I recommend her highly.

We hired Moodscapes to redo our landscaping in 2017. I had done all the work myself previously but the yard was in need of a refresh, and we wanted to fix the driveway and expand the patio to make the space more inviting. I knew we wanted lots of flowering plants and less lawn. We had looked at Moodscapes website and saw that Judi had done a great job transforming other small yards in the area. Working with Judi was very collaborative. We gave her a general idea of what we liked and, other than insisting on keeping a few trees, let her come up with a full design from there. The planning was easy and the end result is beautiful. The patio was extended gracefully into the back yard and is bordered by strawberries and other low plantings. The perimeter is a mix of flowering plants and shrubs along with a few interesting evergreens. When the job was completed Judi stayed in touch to make sure we were fully satisfied. We are looking forward to seeing the landscaping continue to evolve as the plantings become more established.

Judi and her team are great to work with. She helped me plan and design a backyard that was already hard-scaped and had limited planting areas - not an easy task. Judy transformed our boring backyard into a beautiful location. From design to implementation, the project ran smoothly. Her choices in shrubs and flowers were spot on and we had something new blooming in all 3 seasons. Even when we had trouble with the first grass growth, Judy and her team were back, working meticulously to ensure we were happy with the project. Our back yard was a big project because the yard was 3 stories lower than the front of the house with very limited access. We invited Judy back for smaller projects (front landscaping, repave driveway, front walkway) over the years with the same satisfaction.

I hired Moodscapes some years ago to design and install a backyard bluestone patio surrounded by plantings. Judi and her crew did an outstanding job, and she's always available to answer questions or give advice. I now have Moodscapes come to do twice-yearly cleanup, weeding and feeding of my whole property. They are not necessarily the least expensive, but I always feel I get what I've paid for.

We met with Judi in Feb. 2013 to discuss our landscaping project that included redoing the front & back yards. The hardscape part of the project included redesigning our front stoop, steps & walk & creating 2 patios In the backyard - one for the grill & one for the hot tub. We were asked about our style & intended uses for the property, & then we were presented with detailed "blueprints" of the design & all planned trees, plants & shrubbery. With respectful give-and-take, we ended up with exactly what we had hoped for & enjoy the results more than we had imagined. Judi is experienced, creative & a pleasure to deal with. She acts as the general contractor of the entire project bringing in experts for the different aspects of the job such as the masonry & underground sprinkler system. During the season of 2014, Judi & her team maintained the property which included replacement of some plants & improvements to some others. We recommend Moodscapes unequivocally to others.

We were really happy with the services provided by Judi and Moodscapes! We did a huge landscape and hardscape redesign and rebuild in our front and back yards. Judi was a great communicator who listened carefully to our goals and made flower and plant recommendations entirely in line with our vision, including our desire to keep it "green". The crew working with Judi were all very reliable and responsible and respectful. We built a deck, patio, pergola and shed ... great material, top quality work, and a gorgeous end result, all with clear and consistent communication throughout the project. I'd recommend Moodscapes to anyone and everyone.

We hired Moodscapes to create a landscaping plan for our entire lot. Judy took ample time to really understand what we like and don't like, how we envision the property, what we wanted it to be like, etc. She then created a plan incorporating all of the elements we talked about, and breaking out different sections as separate projects we could do over time, which was extremely helpful. We ended up hiring Moodscapes to remove an old fence in our backyard, dig out about a 3rd of the yard that had become overgrown with weeds, and regrade it and seed it, and put up a new cedar fence. When that project was complete, we hired them again to remove a giant section of asphalt from our oversized driveway—replacing the section with plantings and a beautiful paver patio, and sectioning it off with a cedar privacy fence. Through both projects, Moonscapes stuck to the timeline and budget, and did exceptional work. Jesse, who supervised the crew, was friendly and knowledgeable, and stayed in communication with us the whole time. When we bought the house, the yard was ugly and the driveway overwhelmed the whole place. We didn't know what to do or where to start. Judy helped us think everything through and create a really amazing, comfortable, beautiful space. We now love our backyard and spend a lot more time outside. I think what sets Moodscapes apart is their design expertise, their attention to detail, and the quality of their work.

Moodscapes has created design plans and implemented these plans to create a cohesive front to back yard landscape. They really take into account your individual needs as well as make suggestions for what would work in your space and surroundings including light, watering needs, pest management, pet safety, etc... We have also had Moodscapes provide seasonal prep and clean up of our beds and yard. Very prompt and responsive! We always have fun discussing new plans for the upcoming season. Can't wait to work with them again!

I hired Moodscapes to completely overhaul my yard, ripping it out to bare earth and starting over. I could not be more happy with the results, which is literally a show-stopper – people stop walking to look at the yard and talk with me when I am outside. They have also done an excellent job helping me maintain it to high standards over the past two years.
