Carolyn has done happy big projects for us. Her work always exceeds your expectations. She is dedicated, on task, very creative and knowledgeable. She works well with her clients and delivers an exceptional finale to any job she is providing. Her creativity is always exciting. We are currently working with Carolyn to update our home in Tennessee.

Carolyn did a masterful job helping me select our exterior paint colors. She provided 3 color combination recommendations including main walls, trim, and an accent. She somehow accomplished colors that meet my taste and look great on my historic house (1923). She also did a fantastic job selecting stone tiles for my front porch and steps that work great with the exterior color and brick driveway. I love it all - bravo Carolyn!

What an amazing experience! Start to finish, working with Carolyn was such a pleasure. I had been thinking of bringing in a designer to my new home for several months. I was dreading the experience of what a pain in the neck it would be with all of the legwork I'd have to do to convey what I was looking for. Ha! I did virtually nothing! Carolyn was so professional yet very down to earth. She knew what I was thinking before I could say it. She has obviously done this for a long time and runs her business like a well oiled machine. She has helped me look at things in a new perspective which is really refreshing. Not only would I highly recommend her for design, I think she is an awesome person all around!

Carolyn Moor gave us the best of both worlds - interior designer and decorator with depth and breath of experiences in each over a period of 23 years. She remains current on design, decorating, architectural design, and applicable laws and regulations. Creative, hard working and sincerely cares about her clients and exceeding their expectations. Cost conscious. Good negotiator in client's behalf. Met all timetables. Reliable, Trustworthy. We recommend Carolyn without any reservations. The following remarks gives but a smidgen of highlights from our experience with Carolyn, and thus why we so recommend her. Carolyn took the architect's four overview drawings for the remodeling of our kitchen and powder room and led us through the selection of the one that best fit our life style. She detailed a functional and aesthetically pleasing layout of appliances, cooktop, sinks, and cabinetry; and the design of center island (8'x7'), She helped us select 3 pieces of granite for the island and counter tops, and worked with us, the contractor and granite fabricator in selecting and matching pieces for the island to get the "right look." She got into details such as edge for granite, location of electric outlets; the backsplash tiles and their layout, guided us through selection of cabinets, colors, glazing, hardware (type and size); Carolyn researched lighting and window treatments for the kitchen and ensured we bought the right sizes and lamination; she personally worked with the window treatment installer. Carolyn helped us choose wood flooring to be installed in about 2500 sq. ft of the family room, kitchen, living and dining rooms. She guided us through the purchase of window treatments and the redecorating of these rooms- including painting, pictures and wall shelves. She recommended fabrics for our kitchen and dining room chairs and supervised their fabrication. Communications: Outstanding. Responsive to calls, emails and texts. Made us feel comfortable in asking questions. Listened to our thoughts and concerns. She lives an hour and half from us, and came to us with to show us samples. She looked at all our "stuff" with an eye toward maximizing its use and minimizing additional purchases. She understood our lifestyle, use of our home and activities. Moreover, she worked with us, the contractor and architect to make smart choices that will serve us well in the future (not fads) and increase our home value. Carolyn gave us lots of ideas and choices. She did not try to steer us to choices that would earn her commissions. She was clear and up front about her fee. She was aware of our budget, and helped us prioritize to effectively and efficiently manage costs and time. She made us feel as just as important to her as are her internationally known celebrity clients. Carolyn balanced for us the "big picture" with the "nitty-gritty." She enthusiastically took us from "soup to nuts." She was hands-on - moved ladders; held -up pictures; sorted through accessories and made a point to understand their importance to us so they had places of honor; she rearranged furniture and lamps, and the like.

Carolyn did a wonderful job helping us come up with a design for our new family room that provided the cozy feeling we were seeking while addressing some traffic flow issues due to the room's odd layout. She came up with a gorgeous color palette with which we have been able to continuously build upon and with furniture that is sized to fit the room perfectly. On top of her design skills, Carolyn is such an inspiring person and such a kind person to work with.

My husband and I recently purchased a home that had all the bells and whistles from 10 years ago, but desperately needed to be updated. We contacted Carolyn to help give us a vision and a plan to make those updates a reality -- without breaking the bank!! We initially met with Carolyn and she got to know the space and our personalities and our needs/wants. She then came to present us with her interpretation of that through design combined with form and function. We LOVED everything she presented to us. She was friendly, extremely professional, always showed up on time, and was just a pleasure to work with. We have already begun to implement the "plan" and can't wait to continue to the next phase.

Carolyn proved to be very knowledgeable and provided me with the insight I was lacking in the initial design planning stages for my office. I liked her ideas and ulitmately will use most if not all of them when we get to the execution phase of the project.

We can’t say enough about Carolyn; we greatly valued her design consultation services and appreciated the time she took with us. Designing a newly built home from top to bottom has been a daunting task for us and it was important for us to have a good plan in place before the house was finished so we can quickly mobilize to make our house a home as soon as possible. Carolyn helped us break things down into more manageable stepwise decisions and really took the time to consider our individual needs along with various existing color schemes that would be present from the furniture we will be bringing from our previous home and previous flooring selections. Carolyn suggested fun and interesting design aspects as we had hoped; these suggestions were equally functional and consistent with our family’s needs and preferences. It is obvious that Carolyn does her homework and takes enough interest in her clients and their homes to remember important details. She made good suggestions on how to arrange furniture, how to select needed materials, and where to find needed furnishings, window treatments, and flooring. She also offered very helpful paint color/design suggestions. Most importantly, Carolyn was able to get us excited about the potential of our new home again; after going through the long building process, we were feeling overwhelmed by the time we seriously started considering design elements. However, Carolyn was not discouraged by how overwhelmed we were; rather, she helped us mobilize quickly and start to see how we will be able to live comfortably with our two young children in our new home. She never made us feel that she was tracking every minute she spent on our project and she went well above and beyond to work with us as we were working in a situation with all of our furniture/belongings in various storage units and a construction home site.. On top of all of this, Carolyn is clearly very genuine person with a great heart. We will be recommending Carolyn to friends and we highly recommend hers services to her to anyone!

Ms. Moor arrived to our home on time and impressed us with her ability to rearrange our furniture and make suggestions that dramatically improved our use of space. We have some design challenges in two specific rooms, each with large windows. We wanted a more efficient and functional arrangement of furniture, and she transformed our use of space. We are pleased with the outcome of her design services.
