Moore's Custom Cabinets

My cabinet experience has been less than acceptable. It’s been 3 years since the initial install and the repairs, adjustments and corrections continue. The initial cabinets were not delivered on time, the cabinets were pieced together where they should be in a long run, doors didn’t close correctly, drawers sag and have had to be ‘beefed up” I’ve the last three years. Everything was discussed on the initial meeting with Ryan. We required custom cabinets. Drawers need to hold substantial weight pans for cooking, we want soft close and inset cabinets. It’s been an ongoing replacement and repair and it’s still not right.

I wish I could give these guys a great review, but I can’t. I always try to buy local and Moore Cabinets came highly recommended. We started the process in August. The initial designer gave us a price list of the cabinets, but said he couldn’t do a design until after we agreed to the price list. After we worked through that, he made a design, but mis-measured the kitchen. Ryan took over at that point and did a beautiful design. We talked about what wood and what color stain we wanted as well as glass fronted cabinets, pull out trash, spice racks, corners, etc. we were told it would be 5 weeks before install. 5 weeks became 7 weeks. The big day arrived, but it didn’t. They called at 7:45 to let us know they were backlogged and needed to push back the install date. When the cabinets arrived, we were surprised to discover they were not stained and did not have glass in them. When we contacted the company, we were told they don’t do staining nor do they supply glass for the cabinets. That is fine, but this should have been made clear at the design meeting, especially since we discussed stain colors and glass fronted cabinets at that time. The inserts did not arrive when the cabinets did. I had my contractor stain all the cabinets, then they returned to adjust the shelves and drawers. They still aren’t closing correctly. I have contacted them again to get them to come back out and finish the job. On the plus side, they are beautiful and appear to be very sturdy. Hopefully this story will have a happy ending once everything is readjusted.

Working with Ryan to design our house cabinets was a great experience. He enjoyed the challenges of doing some unique additions to cabinets and was able to fulfill all requests to my ultimate satisfaction. The craftsmanship of the end products was outstanding.

From wood choices to furniture legs to design and proportion, Ryan created my cabinets as I had envisioned. His 3D software made it easy to instantly tweak and visualize any changes prior to beginning construction of my cabinetry. Thank you, Ryan, for my beautiful cabinets.

Ryan Moore and his crew have done a few projects for us. Both large and small and have always exceeded our expectations! From start to finish, the process was flawless and his attention to detail was just what we needed. We wanted a very specific cabinet design and he nailed it.
