Commented: How did you finish off the opposite end?My other wall also ended at another window sill. In your case, I would do as you suggested. I would use the pencil trim to "close" the design neatly from cabinet to counter top.

Commented: Brick backsplashThis kitchen was an addition to an existing house. The brick "backsplash" is the actual exterior wall of the original house. The bricks are real and 50 years old.

Commented: What is the name of this tile? Both of them? I love this!This was bought from the Tile shop (www.tileshop.com) back in 2008. The mozaic banner is called "Glass Autumn Mix" (SKU#615574) and the square stone tiles are called "Cadiz Bone" (SKU#660590)
