Ryan and team did the hardscapes including paths, firepit, dining area and patio flooring. Pleasure to work with and has the ability to adapt as the project requires. helped intro us to a landscape designer as well! definitely recommend and would use again.

This was the largest investment we have made in our house so far and we could not be happier. Ryan patiently worked with us to revise the project until we found that balance of budget and the need to COMPLETELY redo our mess of a back yard. The scope of the work involved replacing an aging wall, creating two terraced lawn areas and a fire pit area as well as over 20 stairs to ascend the new yard. His team was very professional and listened to our input and handled revisions with grace. Our satisfaction really mattered to them and they took a lot of pride in their work. We solicited a few bids for this project and JR's pricing was in the middle of the pack, but included a lot of extras compared to the other bids. The only cost overruns were self-inflicted when we decided the stairs looked so good in the back yard that we needed to replace the ones in the side yard to match. Overall, very pleased. Compared to some of his peers, Ryan was prompt, polite and very willing to adapt to our needs.

Ryan and his company do really great work! The fence and retaining wall they built is really top notch and looks great. We had some changes and bumps during the project but Ryan was flexible and worked with us to get the job done perfectly. Their pricing is on par with other companies we got quoted but the level of work and detail is above and beyond. To top it off communication was breeze as Ryan was very responsive to emails. Do yourself a favor and go with this company!

Ryan and his crew were beyond professional and kind, even my neighbors commented on how wonderful they were. They went above and beyond to make sure the project was exactly as we wanted. They filled in the slope in our backyard, added a retaining wall, gave us a new fence, gave us a play area for the kids, redid our grass, and made a dog run. The yard came out better than we could imagine. I can't say enough good things about the work they did or how wonderful they were.

Ryan and crew came to our home for a fairly big job. Pull tree stumps, grade yard, transplant bushes and shrubs and install 8 cycle sprinkler system and install fire pit. We couldn't have been happier as Ryan and crew were very punctual and very friendly to work with. I would and have recommended them!

J&R Rockscapes has installed several landscapes that I have designed. Recently we worked on a project that required an amazing attention to detail and the crews really were exceptional! They are all so wonderful to work with and the owner, Ryan, is positive, creative and greatly knowledgeable. We took an existing water feature that had been installed incorrectly and re-worked it to be more appropriate for the space. We also added a small fire pit and different patio areas. Ryan was great in finding new flagstone that closely matched the existing. They cleaned the old and integrated the new and the old stone so the updated patios were consistent and seamless. Absolutely impressed! Ryan and his team helped to install a column stone for a reasonable price with high professionalism. The guys are friendly and efficient. We contacted other contractors before Ryan. They either couldn't do it or would charge a hefty amount. I'm very glad that we discovered J & R Rockscape. I highly recommend Ryan without hesitation.

The scope of the work we had done: •We had a 4ft retaining wall built for our corner lot, front yard (approx. 160 ft) •Evened out our yard and doubled the yard space •Had a 4 zone sprinkler system and uplighting installed throughout the entire front yard •Added a high quality wood fence with stone pillars and lights installed •Finished with full landscaping including all plants, trees, bushes, large granite rocks, beach pebbles, and bark. My town home had a retaining wall which collapsed so we needed it to be replaced (not to mention it was ugly in the first place). I had 6 bids from various vendors but J&R Rockscapes was referred so I decided to get one more. Ryan and his team helped us landscape our front yard with approximately 6 tons of rock and 5 yards of top soil. His team was professional and always on time. He took time to help us pick out the specific rocks that would fit the space. The actual installation took about 4 hours. We love the results!

Our job consisted of putting in a walkway from the outside of the house and continuing into the house. J & R Rockscapes did a professional and artistic job. The company was easy to work with, they listened to what we wanted, and the result was beyond what we had imagined. The workers were respectful, neat, worked well together, and cleaned up after themselves. They explained every step of their work completely. They took our suggestions eagerly. There was no misunderstanding about the cost. We hated to see them go.
