Welcome to Central New England Soapstone. We are a family company and have been in the Soapstone business for over fourteen years. I started as a builder and re modeler in the trades over thirty years ago. Mostly in the kitchen, bath industry. We have many years in the mastery of design to the start and completion of many New England designs, to Adirondack log homes and contemporary kitchens, bathes, fireplace surrounds, masonry furnaces, tiles and our own outdoor kitchen in lovely New York State. Born and raised in Central Ma. We are proud of our New England heritage. Our three sons have all been trained within the building trades and mostly in the old Artisan way of soapstone fabrication and installation and handmade custom soapstone sinks. Today we are all considered Masters of the trade. We have all educated and trained many individuals the art of soapstone fabrication, throughout the USA and Canada. Fabricating and installing soapstone as far as California and Texas. Today, we install as far as the Canadian border, New Jersey, and all of the New England states. We are different than your typical granite fabricators. We take many steps to the completion of the surface and edges and use very different tools to complete the job. We sand and prep the surface by sanding it at least four times, before we are done. This preps the surface, so the soapstone can function properly and create its own beautiful hue and patina. Don’t be fooled by the unknown fabricator, who will not even touch or finish the surface of the soapstone properly.
