Southern Cabinets

I used Southern Cabinets for my kitchen remodel about seven years ago. My draw gliders on the garbage can cabinet became harder to use over the years so I stopped by their shop on N Lacy Dr. today (December 11, 2017) to inquire about purchasing new gliders. All the employees were extremely helpful in answering my question and assisted in giving me advice on how to change out the gliders. I was also given two separate pairs of gliders. One heavy duty and one a standard weight glider. I was not charged for any of the gliders and was told to bring back the glider I didn't use but only when I was back in the neighborhood. I was simply impressed with their level of customer service seven years after they originally sold me the cabinets. The team at Southern Cabinets was more interested in helping me out than with charging me for the pair of gliders. Definitely unusual in today's business world.

We had a couple cabinets that needed routered edges in a fixer upper to match the other cabinets. Not only did Southern Cabinets give us a steal of a deal, but they got the cabinets done and back to us in just a couple hours. Great to work with and I'd use them again!

I hired Mr. Holt to build a custom cabinet for our kitchen. He designed, built, and installed it.. My wife and I were extremely happy with every aspect of the job. The workmanship was top notch. Ronnie Lenamon Homes is a custom builder who worked almost exclusively with Southern Cabinets for years until retirement. We found Rodney Holt exceptionally responsive and his team's work excellent. Rodney was on top of his game when it came to purchasing new equipment to streamline his operation, suggesting new products and different types of woods to use in the cabinets. He has refaced all the cabinets in my kitchen and bathroom, trimmed out all the windows in my house and is currently designing the cabinets for our laundry room. We were adding a bathroom onto our house and after looking at a number of vanities we just couldn't find anything. Went to see Rodney and described to him what we were looking for. He worked with us and created the most beautiful piece of furniture for our bathroom. Not just a vanity but a solid piece of furniture that looks absolutely beautiful in our addition. Rodney Holt and Southern Cabinets did a turn key full remodel of the kitchen, dining room, and laundry room of our home built in 1977. From the start of the planning, Rodney provided outstanding information and suggestions on options. This made the process very easy from start to completion. During the remodel, there were unforeseen issues where extra work was needed. Rodney and his team were outstanding during the entire remodel! Our remodel included complete demolition of the existing kitchen from the ceiling to the floors. Christy and I cannot stress enough the outstanding professionalism by Rodney and all of the contractors that partner with him. The cabinetry is outstanding! Rodney worked with us with Lowes to purchase our stainless steel appliances and even took care of returning a defective product and securing the replacement. This is above and beyond outstanding customer service! The granite company Rodney suggested was Italian Granite in Bellmead. This process from choosing the counter tops to the installation was again outstanding. Italian Granite was very informative and the installation was perfection. The flooring process was professional and the contactor was outstanding. The sheet rock contractor and painters were professional and their work was outstanding. We cannot say enough great things about Rodney and his group! Through all of the unforeseen issues where entire walls had to be reframed, foam insulation applied, kitchen and dining room ceiling replaced due to termite damage 25 years ago, the final price was still below price quoted. I find Southern Cabinets and Rodney Holt the way business was years ago....honest and outstanding workmanship! We highly recommend Southern Cabinets and will use them again soon!
