About Us

Nicole Deline is a Designer. She practices architecture and design at Studio Deline and Nicole began her career in art, obtaining a degree from San Diego State in fine art with an emphasis in sculpture. She went on to work for herself in the field of interior finishes while accepting sculpture commissions of varying scales as they came. She decided it was time to go back to school for her MFA and earned a Masters of Architecture from the Newschool of Architecture and Design 2007. She also taught metal sculpture at the UCSD Crafts Center for eight years. Nicole’s passions lie in building and designing alone. She loves to have tools in her hand to actually be apart of the execution.

Robeson Design

We are a busy interior design firm and use Nicole every chance we get! She is an incredibly talented faux finisher. We work with her on lights, mirrors, sculpted knobs, there’s really nothing she can’t do. She is a true artist and exudes professionalism in every project we approach her with. She is lovely to work and incredibly flexible. We highly recommend her and our projects would not be the same with her work. Thank you Nicole!

Tim Flynn

Nicole is an incredibly talented craftsman. I hired her to design and build a bespoke steel grate for a large, open fireplace that is the centre of my sitting room. It is a work of art. Made of corten steel, it is perfectly conceived and executed. She was a pleasure to work with - so much so that I have just hired her again for another project. Could not recommend her more highly - she is a unique talent and local treasure.

Being an architect, I've worked with many people from many disciplines. Nicole Deline is an outstandingly talented metal artist and designer. Her attention to detail and critical thinking are amazing and are paramount to a good final outcome on any project. I would recommend Studio Deline for any project, any size.
