Stylo Furniture and Design

I recently hired Randy to make a mantel for my fireplace. I had visualized something rather specific, and Randy was able to make that dream a reality. My husband and I marvel every day at how good it looks – far better than we ever hoped. Randy was so easy to work with, timely, responsive, pleasant, and accommodating, and his knowledge in design and wood steered us clear of making wrong choices. Randy also made a kitchen table for us many years ago. The construction of both pieces are both beautiful and of highest quality.

For three years I developed a fine furniture gallery representing several fine woodworkers in the Hudson Valley of New York. One of the earliest designers I took on was Randy Hornman of Stylo Furniture and Designs. His work has a distinct style and is made with a high regard for precision and exceptional design. He is always a pleasure to work with. I will happily buy from him again and/or hire him to do custom wood work for my clients.

My design firm purchased a walnut table that is not only beautiful but durable. Randy was a pleasure to work with and could not have been better with service and follow through. I will use him again!

I hired Randy to build a custom tv cabinet and set of shelves for our new home. I had a very specific idea of what I wanted and Randy worked with me to create my vision. He offered creative ideas/solutions along the way which made for a very collaborative experience and a better unit than what I was able to imagine on my own. Some of my specificifications were challenging, but he found a way to not only meet my needs, but exceed my expectations. I had a chance to visit Randy's workshop and got to see how everything is made by hand---it was quite impressive and inspiring. The result of our collaboration (and I do mean collaboration)? A beautiful, practical, clean tv unit and shelves that is both contemporary and timeless. It it truly a stand out piece(s) in our home. I highly recommend Randy --he is both truly talented and a pleasure to work with.

Working with Stylo Furniture and Design was a great experience. Randy took the time to work very closely with me to make sure the entertainment center not only looked great in my TV room, but also functioned to my specifications. Randy's work is of the highest quality. He has an amazing knowledge of different types of wood and how to combine the different types of wood to make an interesting and beautiful piece. The fact that I live on the opposite side of the country proved to be nothing of a problem.
