A recipient of The Best of Houzz, in both Design & Customer Satisfaction for 2015 and again in 2016, recommended by the Houzz Community in 2015 for design, considered to be a Houzz Influencer, and voted best in Client Satisfaction in 2014, Tammy Irwin, lead designer of Designing Durham, is all about rooms that look good, but feel even better.

Specializing in both Interior Design and Home Staging, Tammy has over 20 years of design experience, and an expanding list of clients and preferred realtors. Tammy's design projects have been featured in and on the front cover of "Our Homes Durham" magazine. She has also written a decorating column for a local newspaper, taught Interior Design at the Community College level, and as way to give back, is very involved in local House Tours throughout Durham Region, where she has designed and staged many of the homes on tour.

As a regular guest on Durham Rogers TV, Tammy has also provided tips and solutions to a wider viewing audience. As part of their services, Designing Durham offers a wide spectrum of design solutions and proven home staging techniques with a personal service that will exceed all expectations. Budget conscious, Tammy and her team will come up with creative solutions that are both beautiful and practical.

From concept to construction, we provide project management that follows every detail of your design journey. We are experts in colour consultations, furniture layouts, floor plans, accessorizing, window coverings, lighting and kitchen and bath renovations as well as staging your home for sale. We have a team that consists of all the design professionals you will need to make Designing Durham your "one stop shop".
