The Art of Concrete

We had an excellent stamped concrete with exposed concrete driveway, sidewalk and patio done by The Art of Concrete in Kitchener-Waterloo. They were the first to get us a quote and asked all of our questions. We had alot. I highly recommend them.

I would not recommend dealing with this company to anyone. Simply put, it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in dealing with any business in my life. My wife and I ordered a number of pieces of concrete furniture from Jon and provided him with a significant deposit (down payment) on the furniture in April of last year. These items were supposed to have been completed and delivered to us in approximately 4-6 weeks. After many deadlines for delivery of these items had passed, the furniture has still never been delivered to us. When we had initially tried to contact him about the delays, he became elusive, difficult to reach, and gave us a number of excuses as to why the items had been delayed. In September of this year, after giving Jon many extensions and opportunities to make things right and deliver the items that he had promised us, we were forced to let him know that we were no longer interested in them and let him know that we would like our deposit returned to us in full. Since then, he has failed to respond to all of our attempts to reach him by phone and through email, and has yet to provide us with the refund that we have asked for. Unfortunately, at this point we are not optimistic that he will provide us with our money back and can only conclude that he has intentionally misled us and has taken our deposit from us with no intention of returning it to us in good faith.

This company was unprofessional never showed up when they said they would, the job was poor and incomplete. would not recommend this company.

We have awarded "The Art of Concrete" flooring jobs, both interior and exterior, at our home on two separate occasions. They were invited back to do the second job based on their outstanding performance on the first one. They did not disappoint. They are without a doubt extremely conscientious about the work they provide good consult and follow-up. There were no hidden costs and they even went above and beyond on a few "extra" items I requested along the way. They remained professional, neat and courtesies at all times. They worked long days in all types of weather conditions and in the end you could see that they were as proud of the job they had done as I was to show it off. They even returned on a couple occasions after completing the job to ensure everything was still great! I would not hesitate to call them in again or to recommend them to other individual home owners or any company looking for a solid trustworthy contractor who actually cares. Thanks Jenny
