I met Varda at the American Made Show in Washington, DC. I was immediately struck by the impressive craftsmanship, detail and vivid colors of her pieces. I committed to buying two pieces from her, a Paris table lamp and a beautiful sculptured dish appropriately titled Barcelona Blue. For the latter piece, Varda offered to get a stand custom-made for me at no additional cost. My overall experience with Varda was extremely positive. Not only do I love the art I purchased from Varda, she was also professional, responsive and very helpful throughout.

Varda's fused glasses are works of art. Imagine seeing art glass inserted in your kitchen cabinets, or displayed on a wall with light behind it. Glass sculpture with a complementary lighting is totally exquisite. I've known Varda for a number of years professionally and personally. I've asked her to custom-make special glass tiles for kitchen back splashes and cabinet door inserts. I've coordinated with design of her sculpture forms and table bases. I enjoy working with her and critically discuss form, color and art in general.
