Lindy was so warm and friendly, I immediately felt comfortable with her from the first phone call. She didn’t have the painting I wanted in stock, but she gave me a very fair price on a similar painting. When the painting arrived, included was a hand-written card wishing us luck on our new adventure (the painting was a gift for my wife to commemorate our soon-to-be-born son. I would highly recommend Lindy and will likely ask for a commissioned piece in the future.

After having admired her work in galleries, hotels and collectors homes I acquired several paintings from her inventory. This past fall I commissioned two larger paintings. Her choice of colors and composition initially spoke to me. Later, I began to appreciate the textures, subtle and sublime, in so much of her work. Genuine compassion, love, and respect for nature are evident too. Her work will hang in my home and office for years to come.

Working in the Residential and Commercial design industry, good art is extremely important! Lindy's use of color is exceptional and demands your attention. I worked with Lindy on a painting for a client's home on Lake Macatawa and everyone who enters the home, loves it. She was given some inspiration images, fabric color palette and created a stunning piece of art. She also painted a beautiful piece for my personal home and it brings joy daily. Lindy is the best and I look forward to working with her on future projects!

We have purchase several beautiful pieces from Lindy Bishop for our Northern Michigan home — her use of color and her ability to evoke the connection to water and nature that, for us, is the essence of that part of the country has made her one of our favorite artists. We wish we had more walls!

We love Lindy's painting, "You're Safe With Me" which she did in plein air in Leelanau County, Michigan. It's colorful and captures the sense of place.
