Welcome Home designs

My family and I moved from Ontario to BC last year. I contacted Margaret a few months before the move and was pleased that she agreed to work with a long distance client! Margaret is very personable and was wonderful to work with. She was very accessible, which was important given that the majority of our communication before the move was done via emails and telephone calls. Margaret had an accurate sense of my preferences and was always well prepared with information and recommendations. While still in Ontario, I greatly relied on Margaret to help me with some of the decision-making, e.g. concerning sofas and bed frames, as I was viewing the products and options online only, on store websites. I also appreciated Margaret's efforts to source locally-made products and services. In short, Margaret is a gem!

When I decided to totally revamp my bathroom, I immediately thought of Margaret at Welcome Home Designs. It was an absolute pleasure working with her. She would rearrange her schedule to fit in with mine, was ever ready to acknowledge my thoughts, to gently persuade me from making a total disaster when it came to colour and to accompany me to various outlets for tiles and bathroom fittings. Margaret was tireless in her enthusiasm and constructive ideas. You have a natural gift Margaret. Thank you for helping me to a beautiful bathroom!

This is our third time we have used Margaret from welcome home designs. we appreciate her ability to make herself available to us when needed and her practical advice on interior design to help us with the many decisions we had to make. Last spring we added 1200 ft.² to our 1800 ft.² 50's style house. she assisted us with everything from flooring and tiles to cabinet colors. She also assisted us with picking out our interior and exterior paint colours, exterior rockery and lighting. I am a mother of three young children and work full-time and was completely overwhelmed by the number of products out there and the number of decisions that had to be made. I joked with Margaret that she was not only my interior designer but my counselor as well. She has a wonderful eye for design, and does a masterful job of giving honest advice and asking the right questions that assist you in making decisions you will enjoy for many years. I appreciate daily her advice and how she help me avoid some big mistakes. She is very approachable and professional and we would use her again in a heart beat. We are thrilled with our final product and how the older part of our house fits in seamlessly with the new part while incorporating new design which fits our style and lifestyle. thank you Margaret.

Margaret, with her great sense of style and attention to detail has helped me with a variety of decorating projects. She is a confident professional with a great sense of humor. She is a pleasure to work with. One of the larger projects she helped us with was when we opened up our kitchen to the family room. She worked with us and the contractor to remove a large wall, install new hardwood throughout, including renovating our kitchen. Margaret helped us in choosing colors and finishes. Her creative ideas helped us deal with any design dilemma we incurred. She was awesome, totally committed, reliable and always ready for any challenge. I would highly recommend Margaret!

I did an overhaul of my home, bathrooms, living room and bedroom In the living and bedroom I retained some of my original furniture, which makes it harder to have a new look. Margaret of Welcome Home was there for me . She helped me pick paint colors, tiles, fixtures and bedding. She also brought in accesories and shopped for lighting fixtures. The project just needs the photo wall hung to be complete. I will definitely have Margaret back to do that . She has a great eye for balance and interesting compositions. Margaret was professional, and fun, but still managed to keep me on track and on budget .

We asked Margaret from Welcome Home Designs to help us with a color scheme and wall covering (wallpaper). We were very happy as we were not sure what to do .
