Zander Homes was referred to us by our engineer friend, thank goodness. We had spent a long time determining who we'd trust for a new build since Harvey was our second flood in 30 years and the end of our 1950 home. After numerous meetings with big box builders and individual contractors, we learned of Zander Homes' paramount principle of building relationships when building a home. That core value was reflected in their honest, responsive communication and concern for our needs. They were always accessible, easy to work with and genuine in our interactions. Their professionalism of delivering excellent quality service and workmanship at a reasonable cost was outstanding. We are so grateful for Zander Homes' level of expertise and attention to detail. Our beautiful new home is designed so we can age-in-place, even with all the new Houston floodplain requirements. We highly recommend this award-winning custom home builder. Our home flooded for the 3rd time in Harvey and we decided to tear down our flooded house and build a new raised home. After looking at several big box builders and after discovering the lack of flexibility in their pricing system, we found Justin Henry and Zander Homes. At the beginning of the process Justin finds out what is important to you in your house (ie, wood floors, wood railing or iron, etc). This is where you likely want to spend the money and then he works to adjust in other areas based on your budget. Nothing is subpar in quality. I was able to get exactly what I wanted! I have always heard nightmare stories about building a custom home, but I can honestly say the process was streamlined with Zander. No one that has built a house can say they had no hiccups, but despite weather issues and a few needed adjustments, Zander Homes handled everything perfectly. We absolutely love our Zander Home! Justin, Alfred, Rick and Jose take good care of their clients. I VERY highly recommend Zander Homes to build your house.
