Product Description

• Oak - reclaimed fallen trees out of a local North Carolina Alpaca farm. A great deal of time was spent bringing out the beauty of this old oak and the accents that mother nature has added to its surface. This pair has several wood worm etchings and darker striations. Each pair is created from the same plank of wood to ensure its match.
• Glass bottle candle holder - is an inverted Makers Mark® Whiskey bottle. Our recycled bottles are collected from friends, family and local establishments. The bottle bottoms are carefully removed, wrapped in copper tape, tinned and treated with solder and black patina. The edge will continue to patina and add to the distressed look.
• Soy Candle - included - is a Lemon Grass and Green Tea essential oil blend, hand poured by a local North Carolina candle maker. The double wick candle offers up to 15 hours of burn time and gives off a beautiful warm glow. The candle is self-contained in a clear glass votive and is 3.5”h x 3” diameter
• The cast iron and zinc plated hardware give the sconce a unique industrial feel as well as hold the bottle firmly in place. The bottle is shipped detached from the hardware to ensure its safety and accompanied with easy detailed assembly instructions.
• The back of the sconce is fitted with a metal hanging plate that requires a single headed nail for a secure flat against the wall installation.

The recycled bottles are thankful donations from friends, family and area establishments. Each bottle's label is removed, then hand cut and kiln fired before the creative process even begins. Each piece is as unique in design as the glass is in color and shape.
