After searching for months for the perfect dresser I was so excited to find the Larsson, but it unfortunately has a major design flaw. Let’s start with the positive – the company they use to ship and deliver communicated very well and delivered on time. We ordered two as oversized bedside tables and both arrived without a blemish. The only assembly is adding the legs which is incredibly easy. The wood is very attractive and overall the look of the dressers is exactly what I hoped, just like the photos, and great. The dimensions are listed wrong on the site which you can tell by looking at the photos. Now the flaw- The depth of the dresser is 17 inches, however, the drawers them selves are only 11 inches deep which is significantly shorter than standard dressers. That’s 6 inches of wasted space, and I’m not sure why they designed it like that. It’s just unused air in the back. Additionally, when the drawers are open there is only a 6 inch opening to access your clothes which is very narrow. The drawers are on wooden sliders and therefore wobbly and not smooth which I can overlook. Overall I love the look, but the functionality is much less than most dressers because of the small size of the drawers. Since function beats fashion it only gets two stars. I’d love to repurchase once the drawers are the depth of the dresser.
