In this continuing series of paintings, Michelle investigates undulation and shifting thresholds in environments and memories. This collection is an arrangement of beautiful scenes from photography of the Lower Southeastern region of the United States and beyond! Michelle’s ever expanding collection of watery Low Country sea and landscapes are influenced by all those field trips, and the ability to soak up the very unique flavors, up and down the Atlantic coastline. The Omega Series is a lineage of original acrylic on canvas works done in mixed media. This piece is comprised of multiple layers of acrylic done in 'glazes' on a fresco type finished canvas and Omega V actually has the addition of pure clean sand as the ground and oil pastel highlights make this piece 'pop'!
