Leon, who works under the name Abstract Graffiti, had an interest in art from a young age. At 17, he attended art college in the U.K. and studied graphic design, which steered his work toward illustration. After years of illustrating he decided to turn his hand to working with stencils and spray paints. Leon's inspirations mainly come from colorful abstract and surreal artists such as Picasso, Dali, Miro, Pollock, Gaudi and Kandinsky, but also pop artists like Warhol, Keith Haring, Roy Lichtenstein and Jean Michel Basquiat. Other inspirations include Hip Hop culture, Americana and comic book art.

His mother, Doris, also an artist, was also a major source of inspiration. After receiving a bachelor's Degree in Science from the University of Maryland in 1985, Kessler worked for several years in graphic arts and architectural design before turning to painting full time in 1991.

Valarie Wade 'Gone Fishing' Canvas Art, 47"x35"by Trademark Fine Art
Valarie Wade creates with both traditional media (colored pencils, crayons, watercolor, and acrylics) and digital software (CS5 Creative Suite). Sometimes the two combine into a traditional/digital hodgepodge. Ideas for artwork usually come at the strangest of times, while working on something else, driving, trying to go to sleep... There is an ever growing notebook of concepts that have yet to fully see paper
