Bar Stools and Counter Stools

Not bad for the price: I didn't realize there was a black border around the leatherette; I thought it was chrome like the stand portion of the chair. At first I didn't like it but it will work. I'm a little concerned about weight maximums. Be sure to check measurements. I thought the chairs were a little larger but overall you can't beat the price for such a modern looking chair. It appears more expensive than it is.

Chair Height Adjustment Difficult: I like these stools, but the only adjust up using the lever, when no one sitting on them, making it necessary to climb up to sit on them, Not easy if you are short like me. Someone also must sit on them to adjust down using the lever.

Sheesham wood counter stool: I can't fairly judge this stool since I chose to return it before assembling it. It was what was pictured on line but just too big and heavier than what I wanted. Also I wanted to see the color variations and I would have preferred more of the gray color.

Stylish stools--some room for improvement.: We bought 4 of these stools for our kitchen counter and two of the seats arrived broken. As another reviewer mentioned, the white seats are hollow and thus somewhat prone to damage in an impact. The manufacturer (not Houzz, naturally) quickly sent out two more seats free of charge. The stools now look great with our white & black granite. HOWEVER, the hard plastic feet that come pre-installed will likely scratch up your wood floor over time. As such, we 3D-printed some plastic feet that would better hold felt pads in place. Combined with 3/4" felt pads, the stools move much more readily when guests drag them on the wood floor and we're no longer worried about drag-marks on our recently refinished 1970s oak :).

Love these!: Only downfall is the seats show any little greasy fingerprint or drop of water (I have a six year old). Otherwise beautiful, well made stools!

Great counter height: As presented, easy to attach top to bottom, comfort and function along with great looking.

Nice stool, but a little high: I received this counter height stool in good condition and right on time. It was a snap to assemble. Looks great, and just the style we wanted. The only issue we have with it is it is a little tall for a counter height stool by about 2-1/2 - 3 inches. It measures a little over 29 inches to seat level and needs to be closer to 26-1/2" so the top of our thighs don't touch the counter overhang. I'm handy, so I'm going to simply cut that much off the bottom of the legs knowing that I will lose the level adjusters on the bottom. No real problem there.

Beautiful bar stool; super fast delivery: This bar stool is a perfect complement to the remodeled kitchen in a mid century modern home. The delivery was unbelievably fast...only 2 days. Assembly was simple and took less than 5 minutes for each of the 2 chairs. The quality is very high, including the stability of the chair. Chair height is adjustable, and settles about 1 - 2 inches when you sit on it, but this does not create a problem. Beautiful, and a very good value, the chair is strongly recommended. Follow-up note: The pneumatic lift in one of the 2 bar stools failed within the first 30 days. Houzz customer representatives had a new bar stool on my doorstep in 2 days. Kudos for the fast response. However, the problem with one of the stools prevents a 5 star rating.

almost perfect: They look exactly like the photos. Very pretty chairs, and I'm not usually drawn to this style. Assembly took about 30 minutes on the first chair, after that only about 10. Reason I didn't give 5 stars: the base of two (of my 4) chairs is soldered together unevenly causing the chair to be unlevel. One of the chairs came with dings in the legs (they appear to have a coating, not solid wood finish). However, Houzz customer service was AWESOME and remedied the issue. Also really wish they came in 24" height, but I'll make it work!

Gold Fuji Bar Stools: Shipping was incredibly fast (and free)! I love my bar stools so much. They are exactly what I was looking for to go with my brass kitchen fixtures! The black cushion is so comfortable too!!
