We ended up contacting Jim and Courthouse Design/Build after a very disappointing experience with another big design/build firm in the area. We showed Jim the previous plans for our redesign and he immediately identified where they could be improved. He created design plans from scratch and then undertook a comprehensive remodel and reconfiguration of the first level of our NW DC row home, including a completely renovated kitchen, a relocated powder room, new floors, and more. We ended up with a beautiful, sophisticated renovation that made our living space much more functional while preserving the charm and historic character of the home.
