The Kardiel Flag Halyard chair comes with everything you see in the picture including the Genuine Top Grain Aniline Leather pillow and the sheepskin throw. Perfectly balanced and built with a solid stainless steel frame and 240 meters of textured flag line, this modern industrial beauty mimics the grace of the original. The "Halyard Rope Chair" was upon its unveiling in Denmark in 1960 destined for iconic status. The wide-set and low frame is excellent for an afternoon rest, especially when matched with the comfort of a sheepskin throw and down feather filled headrest.

It's our ultra-comfortable twist on the chic 1956 Florence Knoll Armchair. Mid-century design updated with a comfortable seating posture & the original 'time period' tufted details we all love. Beautifully upholstered by hand in a variety of performance tested, heavy weight fabrics. The sofa frame is crafted from steel springs and solid hardwood. The foam is dense, durable, comfortable and safe. The foam meets CA fire retardant requirements without the addition of chemicals.

Making the Icon
Florence is one of the most influential Mid Century Modern icons of the 20th century. But not all furniture is made the same way. Our dedicated upholsterers keep the lines tailored, the upholstery taunt and the curves even. Florence's squeak free frame is solid wood, glued & screwed. Buttons are hand sewn. Cushions are individually fitted to the frame and generously filled. Florence is delivered with a limited lifetime warranty.

About Vintage Tailored Twill
Twill is an interwoven knit fabric. The thread takes turns in an over and under weave forming a crooked yet overall lineal rectangle pattern that can be discerned at close range. The pattern exists but appears somewhat random when viewed from a normal distance. Vintage Tailored Twill features a finer, tightly tailored flat weave appearance.
Vintage Tailored Twill provides perhaps a more refined, tailored appearance than that of a typical coarse twill. It relies on the multi-tone nature of the fabric strands themselves to provide the appearance of depth of texture.

About Plush Velvet Premium
Velvet in general is a soft pile fabric that has been woven since the beginning of the middle ages. It is soft to the touch with a distinctive nap. It is woven on a loom unique to velvet fabrics. Often used on modern furniture where a clean appearance is desired, Micro-velvet is a form of a standard velvet fabric. The micro-velvet variety is considered a lower maintenance fabric. It features a low nap which reduces the light and dark variation of a traditional crushed velvet. The fabric is durable, forms well with curve & tufting work. It features a warm appearance and a soft to the touch surface. Velvet as a term refers to the fabric style not the fabric content. Velvets are made from a variety of fabric types.
