This box contains 90 tiles of the Turquoise Talavera Painted Mexican Tile. Embellish your project space with the beautiful colors of hand-painted Mexican Talavera tiles. The practice of making these handcrafted ceramic tile designs began in the late 1500s. Spanish tiles adorn many decor styles including Spanish style decor, Mexican architecture, Southwestern decor, Rustic home decor, Santa Barbara design, Beach home decor, Western decor, Hacienda decor, and many more. Order 15-20% overage to allow for waste, cuts, and borders. Install Talavera ceramic tile indoor or outdoor with proper installation techniques and materials. These decorative tiles are both beautiful and functional. Since Mexican Talavera is a glazed and kiln fired ceramic tile, use it as kitchen backsplash tile, bathroom tiles, countertop tiles, tile for fountains, floor accent tiles, wall accent tiles, mural tiles, and restaurant tiles. Mexican Talavera tile is handmade and is a Rustic tile. No two tiles are the same. Some Rustic characteristics include size, thickness and color variations, design variations, chips, bumps, hairline cracks, and color bleeding within the design. The appearance of small surface cracks, or crazing, is also a natural characteristic of Talavera tile. The tiles are not perfectly square and do not lay flat. Pillowing is a natural characteristic of handmade Mexican tile. A full box will cover approximately 11-12.5 square feet considering a _ grout line.
