The 100.2691 Thermostatic valve features 3/4" NPT connections and has 2 volume controls, one for tub spout and other for hand shower output. The valve has a flow rate of 8.0 GPM @ 60 PSI.
Supply Stops - There are two safety stops at each water inlet to prevent water flow in case of installation and repairs.
Handle Operation - The middle handle is used to control the temperature of water flowing through the 2 outlets. The volume of water is control by either of the 2 volume control handles on each side of the temperature control handle. Both the volume controls are independent of each other and water can flow through both the outlets [hand shower and tub spout] simultaneously.
As the valve is installed, care should be taken to maintain proper distance from the back of the valve to the finished tile which should be between 2.71" and 3.46" inches [Rough In Spec]. Also the value must be installed straight and not at an angle or upside down. In case, the tile is thicker or valve is installed in the wall is too deep, extension kits are available and can be used for elongating the handles of the valve.
Cut Out Dimensions - The cut out in wall should be 16.41 X 1.85 Inches and no more. This will ensure that the trim plate will cover the cut out hole in the wall.
Trims - The trims comprise of well finished trim plate, handle knobs and tub spout, hand held holder, hand held and hose. The trim plate is used to cover the wall and has markings for HOT/COLD for temperature control handle and ON/OFF for volume control handles. Over the temperature control knob, is an anti-scald temperature stop ring which is a safety feature in this thermostatic value. With the help of this ring, temperature of the water is regulated. • The 100.2450 is a 1/2" NPT connection valve and trim combo with two volume control handles separately for hot and cold water with single mixed output.
• Handle Operation - The volume and temperature of water is controlled by the two handles, HOT and COLD.

As the valve is installed, care should be taken to maintain proper distance from the back of the valve to the surface of finished tile which should be between 2.39" and 3.09". Also, the valve must be installed horizontally and not at an angle. In case, a tile is thicker or wall is deep, extensions are used for elongating both handles of the valve to ensure proper setting of the trim. Extension kits which can be ordered separately in chrome, brushed nickel or other special finishes.
Cut Out Dimensions - The cut out in wall should be 3 holes, 1.3 inches in diameter which will properly covered by the trim plates. This will ensure that the trim plate will cover the cut out hole in the wall.

The 196.2691 Thermostatic valve features 3/4" NPT connections and has 2 volume controls, one for tub spout and other for hand shower output. The valve has a flow rate of 8.0 GPM @ 60 PSI.
Supply Stops - There are two safety stops at each water inlet to prevent water flow in case of installation and repairs.
Handle Operation - The middle handle is used to control the temperature of water flowing through the 2 outlets. The volume of water is control by either of the 2 volume control handles on each side of the temperature control handle. Both the volume controls are independent of each other and water can flow through both the outlets [hand shower and tub spout] simultaneously.
As the valve is installed, care should be taken to maintain proper distance from the back of the valve to the finished tile which should be between 2.71" and 3.46" inches [Rough In Spec]. Also the value must be installed straight and not at an angle or upside down. In case, the tile is thicker or valve is installed in the wall is too deep, extension kits are available and can be used for elongating the handles of the valve.
Cut Out Dimensions - The cut out in wall should be 16.41 X 1.85 Inches and no more. This will ensure that the trim plate will cover the cut out hole in the wall.
Trims - The trims comprise of well finished trim plate, handle knobs and tub spout, hand held holder, hand held and hose. The trim plate is used to cover the wall and has markings for HOT/COLD for temperature control handle and ON/OFF for volume control handles. Over the temperature control knob, is an anti-scald temperature stop ring which is a safety feature in this thermostatic value. With the help of this ring, temperature of the water is regulated. Covering this ring is the handle knob which has a push button on the side. In order to adjust the water temperature, one needs to press this button and move the handle to hot or cold direction. Without pressing it, the user will not be able to rotate the handle to the full HOT position - as an anti-scald prevention mechanism. The anti-scald temperature stop ring should be fitted tightly over the valve (tapping using a rubber mallet might be required during installation) for it to function properly.
Depending upon the shower model, trims can be of different shape and size, varying from square to circular shower handles.

The 160.2691 Thermostatic valve features 3/4" NPT connections and has 2 volume controls, one for tub spout and other for hand shower output. The valve has a flow rate of 8.0 GPM @ 60 PSI.
