Good value for the money: Was easy to put together, well made and sturdy. The fabric looks a little cheap and is easily stained and hard to clean. I've seen some other upholstered chars that had better cover fabric but it was hard to tell from the pictures what will you get. Overall good value for the money

Terrific style, comfortable, not uber durable, but still great buy: We were looking for something smaller so we could fit 4 stools at our island and these worked perfectly. The chairs are comfortable and unique (although I did just see them in a design show the night after I ordered them!). Color of wood grain is captured well in online pictures and is a rich tone. Seats are very easy to clean. Backs go to mid lumbar height, approximately 8.25 inches high, which is less high than our prior stools and took a little time to adjust to but are still comfortable. Adjustable height works great on all our chairs but we are not huge people(top weight in our family is 165lb, ht 5'9"). They do feel somewhat lightweight and I was worried about their stability for my 5 year old, but neither child has any problems getting on or off or hanging out on them(they actually love them as did all their friends

Chair Height Adjustment Difficult: I like these stools, but the only adjust up using the lever, when no one sitting on them, making it necessary to climb up to sit on them, Not easy if you are short like me. Someone also must sit on them to adjust down using the lever.

Good buy!: All the parts of these stools are well aligned so assembly went without problems. The wood is nicely finished and the fabric of good quality. Considering the reasonable price, the solid look and the comparative ease of assembly, we are very pleased with our purchase. It is very important to read the instructions, at least once, from beginning to end before starting on the assembly. Would recommend this product.

Stylish stools--some room for improvement.: We bought 4 of these stools for our kitchen counter and two of the seats arrived broken. As another reviewer mentioned, the white seats are hollow and thus somewhat prone to damage in an impact. The manufacturer (not Houzz, naturally) quickly sent out two more seats free of charge. The stools now look great with our white & black granite. HOWEVER, the hard plastic feet that come pre-installed will likely scratch up your wood floor over time. As such, we 3D-printed some plastic feet that would better hold felt pads in place. Combined with 3/4" felt pads, the stools move much more readily when guests drag them on the wood floor and we're no longer worried about drag-marks on our recently refinished 1970s oak :).

almost perfect: They look exactly like the photos. Very pretty chairs, and I'm not usually drawn to this style. Assembly took about 30 minutes on the first chair, after that only about 10. Reason I didn't give 5 stars: the base of two (of my 4) chairs is soldered together unevenly causing the chair to be unlevel. One of the chairs came with dings in the legs (they appear to have a coating, not solid wood finish). However, Houzz customer service was AWESOME and remedied the issue. Also really wish they came in 24" height, but I'll make it work!

Solid chairs: I love the chairs with the exception of one. I bought four chairs and one of them wobbles really bad. It looks like the rubber piece on one of the legs is faulty causing it to wobble. I'll contact the Seller to see if they can send me a replacement part to resolve the issue.

Very comfortable counter stools: This was my second order for the two counter stools. They arrived, as did the first order, very quickly. They were in good shape and well packaged. All four were easy to assemble (for a woman in her 70s). And they are extremely comfortable. The only reason for the lack of one star is that, as has been stated before, they are a iittle short. I ordered the second set because they are so comfortable and I do not think that we will be using them for eating at the counter. I am 5'4" and I wouldn't be comfortable eating a meal but we primarily use them for visiting in the kitchen.

Best product for the price: I did a ton of research on stools before purchasing these. Got 3 of them. They are the best items for the price. They were pretty easy to assemble, but- make sure you take of the black caps on the top bar. Otherwise you will need to tap it out after the top is put on. The black caps are protecting the seat pressure adjustor. The direction diagram isn't explicit. Aside from that, they are a solid option for anyone that likes chrome on the base and isn't looking for heavy cushioned seats. I recommend these stools.

well made stool: It matches my other stools but this one has a back. It is not as comfortable as I thought it would be, but well made.
