Exclusively using Eastern larch (also known as tamarack or juniper), each cutting board is individually made and one-of-a-kind. The superior end-grain construction naturally protects against surface scarring while also being safe for knife edges.Tamarack is a softwood that only grows in certain Northern latitudes. It has properties of being antimicrobial and rot resistant, which made it a popular choice of wood among indian tribes.
