This shelving system can be made to measure to your own specifications. The shelves pictured here were actually designed as two separate units for a client who needed them to mirror each other on two sides of a chimney breast - but I thought it would be nice to photograph them as a corner unit because I've not had many commissions for these and I thought it might show potential clients what could be possible ! They don't work perfectly as a corner unit because there is a gap where the two units meet, but if anyone reading this description did want a corner unit this detail can of course be refined and the shelves can be mitred or one side can be made longer and the pipes adjusted so they look right (and the price I've listed accounts for this) !
We used a lovely mixture of dark pipe, powder coated fittings, brand new pine boards and aluminium end straps on this unit, but the sky's the limit... these shelves can be made with any combination of pipe and fitting finish and any diameter of pipe and any finish on the boards.... new pine boards could be substituted for reclaimed scaffolding boards, floor boards, chunky reclaimed timber of any type, toughened glass, sheet metal, wire grills, railway sleepers... whatever you would like... I can source anything and gladly will !
