Working with artisanal techniques traditionally reserved for men, Guatemalan artisan Mirian Otzin hand-weaves this cushion cover of cotton on the foot pedal loom. It features a body of chili red, decorated with vertical stripes and elegant zigzag patterns at the center. At the back, the cushion cover features a slit for the insertion of a cushion.
