Pompeii features an uncompromising cube rectangle exterior wall design. Sides that extend straight up and down and a squared off exterior rail exude contemporary confidence. The classic thin upper rail while squared on the exterior softens with round edges on the interior. It only looks straight and stoic. The interior tub floor and walls were designed around the shape of a lounge chair. The resulting interior shape crades the human form at an angle designed to provide a long relaxing spa experience. This is best shown upon closer look with the dipping of the tub floor on the drain end. It deepens before angling backwards for an extended deep spa experience. What appears uncompromising and stoic from an exterior design perspective is a deep, relaxing and therapeutic soaking tub interior. The appropriately shaped integral lineal stainless steel overflow perfectly compliments the architectural intent of the design. A first for acrylic tubs, the "Solid Stone Style" raw cut overflow is a feature only seen in tubs twice this price. Hand carved into body of Pompeii, this overflow is clean and uninhibited. Just like a solid stone tub, no separate metal overflow trim pieces are needed. A signature detail of the Pompeii design is positioning of the overflow and floor drain. These are placed on the right hand facing side of the deep sitting end rather than center. This placement in conjunction with the deep sloped interior allows for sitting/soaking at the deeper end of the tub. Pompeii is CUPC compliant and features an easy to clean 3M Fade Resistant finish and stainless steel frame.
