    Brazilian Chestnut, aka, Sucupira, is a very hard, dense wood with coloring ranging from tan to a brownish-red color. On the Janka scale, Brazilian Chestnut ranks at a 2140. As with other exotic woods, Brazilian Chestnut will darken with exposure to sunlight.
    Like all our Torowood products, this product is proudly finished in the USA with 7 coats of U.V cured aluminum oxide polyurethane. The Brazilian Sucupira line is offered in 4″ width and is backed with a 25 year finish warranty.
