Our new line of Patchwork Kilims combine the very best of both design and weaving! Created using only hand-spun, vegetally-dyed wools, we first weave narrow strips of kilim. Then, we bind the kilims securely together, using a decorative stitch in a corresponding color. The result? A perfectly-modern kilim rug that is also an excellent example of traditional kilim weaving techniques and materials. These lively, little Patchwork Kilims are great for bathrooms, kitchens, closets and bedsides. Our only precuation: please vacuum, rather than shake, this (or any) handmade carpet. We'll include FREE RUG PAD with your purchase, that will make vacuming a breeze! Rug & Relic rug padding is, simply put, the best non-skid rug underlayment you'll find anywhere. Lightweight, odorless, and so thin that it's unnoticeable, our underlayment outperforms any other rug padding available. It will not rot, crumble, flatten out, or shed fibers, and is guaranteed not to harm carpeting or any hard surface floor finish. Rug and Relic padding is suitable for use on both carpet and all hard surface flooring materials. Simply place the padding grey-side-down on hardwoods or tile, and white-side down on carpet, and your rug will remain where you put it, no matter what you drive across it! No clean-up worries, either. The clean-lift adhesive which makes this rug pad so amazing is water-soluble, and cleans up easily with a little soapy water.
