Lucciole is a large chandelier completely handcrafted using reclaimed solid oak staves. The staves are recycled from discarded wine barrels and reinvented into this exceptional ceiling pendant light.
Lucciole is ideal for high ceilings rooms where the interesting effect created by the lights in their staggered formation may be fully appreciated.
This pendant is made using 6 wine barrel staves, which are fixed into place in order to create the desired shape. The staves’ ends still show the original groove of each barrel’s plank.
The chandelier comes with 12 dimmable LED Vintage Edison style bulbs (450 Lm/equal 40W) included in your purchase. Each light hangs at a slightly longer length from the previous, creating the stunning shape and light effect of the whole piece.
Lucciole's hardware elements and canopy are in brass color. The piece is connected to the canopy with a thick black rope, perfect complement to the style of this artisanal -and yet very elegant- piece.
Lucciole's oak staves are finished in a walnut tonality on the upside, while the underside will show the rich reddish color left by the wine previously held in the barrel. The stunning redness given by the wine is enhanced when the piece is lit.

The light's total drop is about 66” from ceiling.

The solid wood of a recycled oak wine barrel has a very distinctive element of charm that is conveyed into every object we create. Every individual barrel carries the signs of its unique history in every stave, creating differences in color, grain and dimensions.
Slight imperfections are part of the charming nature of the aged oak used for our creations and are to be expected.

• Our exclusive Orbits ceiling lamp, unique chandelier has been crafted by skillfully weaving and welding together several metal hoops recycled from discarded French oak wine barrels. The bands are made of galvanized steel that gives this extraordinary piece a very definite urban feel. Please note that the hoops are retreated with a galvanized paint when necessary, in order to eliminate rust and achieve uniformity. Occasionally, welding's markings will be visible in specifics spots, adding to the 'industrial' style of the piece.
• Orbits can be included as an exceptional and definitely unique light fixture to accent your home, patio or winery décor; it can be smartly integrated into any style of interior designing from the rustic to the more modern and contemporary. Its substantial size can be taken an advantage of in grand entryways, halls and high ceiling rooms. Smaller sizing available on request. We highly recommend professional installation of this hardwired light.
• Orbits’ diameter is approximately 26/27” at the outer layer and it weighs about 45lb to 50lb. It comes with 3' chain/cord and flat dish canopy. Professional installation is recommended.

Please make sure that the electrical box to which it will be connected is tested to hold at least 50lb. Our suggestion for additional safety is to use a hook to hang the piece and swag some of the chain's length; the hook should be screwed and secured into solid wood (ceiling’s joist next to the electrical box) and then connected to one of the links towards the end of the Orbits’ chain. Extra chain may be provided upon request.
