About the Artist:
- Henry Paul Brown; Born 1950 in Greensboro, NC and attended Page High School where he received the Gold Key award. Henry is a self-taught painter who began in the age of 15. His main artistic mediums are watercolor, oils and acrylics.
- Henry is an avid outdoorsman and forager. He finds beauty in the smallest details of nature and expresses this on canvas, board or paper. Very much a traditional watercolorist in his early career; landscapes, seascapes, and deserts, all places influenced his subject matter. His travels all over this country are seen in his early works. In recent years, a life experience has evolved his painting into precise intricate abstract pieces that are an explosion of color and movement. His spiritual and faith based writing on many of his works give one an insight to this artist.
- Over the years, Henry has been featured in several art shows in North Carolina.
- Collectors include: Charles Kuralt, Cone Family, Murals for High Point, NC and International Furniture Market and Restaurant
