With it's exclusive self-lifting slag, it's ideal for loading ramps, diamond plate, door and window frames, engine blocks and much more. Forney DC AlumiArc 4043 will even join dissimilar grades of aluminum! Technique: Remove all contaminates with a stainless steel wire brush and rubbing alcohol. Pre heat heavy sections broadly. Start with high amperage and reduce amperage as welding progresses and base metal absorbs heat. Feed the electrode quickly and move fast.
