“Mr. Deras was conscientious in his work. He explained what he was doing and why. He was very neat and polite. He completed my kitchen remodeling and everything was neat and tidy. Before he completed the job, he made sure everything worked and that I had the correct light bulbs for each light fixture. I would definitely recommend him. You will be happy with his work.”

“It's not easy to find a contractor who's knowledgable, responsive, honest and respectful at the same time. I found this out when for the first time I needed an A-Z project done at my single house that I just purchased and wanted to convert it into a warm, comfortable and beautifully lit home. After having three different contractors try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge in the field, I simply asked my neighbor who he'd recommend and ended up speaking to Gene from FB Electric. He said this guy was excellent and reasonable. The rest was easy. The amount of money and time Gene saved me between electrical and HVAC work was substantial and I recommend FB Electrical to anyone who needs work done in their home. They did all the lighting, video and sound, alarms, air-conditioning and heating. I am very thankful and my family has been comfortable for the last two month since they finished.”

“I recently bought a house that had old knob and tube wiring. The first thing I wanted to do was get it replaced, which is a major undertaking. It's an old, two family house with sections that were added on later, and piecemeal electrical upgrades that were done throughout the years. It was a daunting task in so many ways. Even worse, I was hoping to live in it while the work was being done! But the owner, Jesse, came out personally, spent time going over every part of the house and discussing options - re-doing all of the wiring vs just replacing the knob and tube stuff, how they were going to do it, some thoughts on how I might want to lay out new outlets, switches, circuit panels, everything. It was a refreshing change from the other electricians who just wanted to dictate exactly what needed to be done and run up a big unnecessary bill for things I didn't want. He presented me with options, and I selected one and we went from there. Then, there was the work itself. Absolutely phenomenal. Like I said, there were a ton of details, and they nailed it. They kept notes on what I wanted and did it right the first time, they rolled with the punches when I changed my mind on details halfway through the job, they asked questions on my preferences and offered sage advice. The attention to detail, especially the little things, like minimizing the disruptions from re-wiring and keeping the damage to walls to a minimum, went so far beyond what I was thought was possible. I was expecting to be totally without power while they re-did all the wiring, but no, they were able to keep our power on pretty much the entire time. Besides just doing a great job, they were also on time, they did the job right the first time, they finished when they said they would. All told, they ended up inspecting and replacing almost all of the electrical in the house, which is exactly what I asked for. All the outlets, now properly grounded. Most of the lights replaced with energy efficient LEDs that won't need a bulb replaced for decades. New circuit breaker panels instead of the old fuse boxes. Even had a couple of electric baseboard heaters installed. At the end of the day, I'm incredibly satisfied and happy with the work they did. These guys are true professionals in every sense of the word.”

“Galvin rewired our entire house (formally knob and tube + some poor DIY work) and also installed recessed lighting in the kitchen and livingroom as well as additional security lighting outside, overhead lighting in the basement, and mounted our TV w/ components hidden from view in a bookshelf on an opposite wall. They were excellent! Extrememly helpful in making receommendations around lighting, outet/switch placement, etc. Very nice and respectful crew. Prices were also very reasonable. We would hire them again in a hearbeat.”

“I hired Jim Beckwith on three separate occasions in 2015, and his work has been excellent. I plan on hiring him again as I complete the renovations of my condominium. Jim installed ceiling lights, ran new lighting into my rebuilt closets, installed electric baseboard heaters, checked my whole electrical system, and reinstalled my entire entire electric panel box to bring it up to current code. The panel formerly looked like a crow's nest. After Jim rebuilt it with a top quality Eaton steel box, it looks like a work of art--everything organized and labeled. I have recommended Jim to others who have hired him, and they are just as satisfied as I am. Jim makes it easy for clients to hire him. You just visit his website and add to the calendar the date and time you want him to do the work. He sends a confirmation email. He also sends text messages when he is on his way. He always arrives on time. This is what really amazed me after trying to work with other contractors who show up late or not at all and do not understand the meaning of communication. Jim is very personable and uses quality parts. Other "handymen" you tend to find online have a habit of using inferior quality products to shave costs. I prefer to pay a few bucks more and sleep well at night by buying quality parts and quality work, especially when comes to something as important as my home electrical system. Jim gets five stars from me on every count.”
