“Andrey changed my ugly back yard into a beautiful deck and fence. I looked far and wide for a contractor to do this work. I had one other contractor look at the job but they were not willing to work with me to get the job done. Andrey listened to my ideas about how I wanted it built, and he worked with me to make it happen. I am in Boston so getting the permits to start the job was a huge effort. Andrey was great working with the city to get the permits. I am very happy with the way the project turned out.”

"Received daily emails regarding progress and/or upcoming information/meetings. Quick response/resolution to any concerns/changes requested. Clear breakdown of allowances/estimates, including any change orders. Friendly, and reliable from start to finish. “Joe Fournier did some great architectual design work on two large projects we did. A large remodel on one property and an almost complete rebuild on a second property. Joe acted as GC on the second job and did a wonderful job keeping things moving, helping us get good decisions made in a timely fashion and working closely with all the trades to ensure the work was coordinated and of high quality. The transformations to our properties were hugely successful and Joe was instrumental in helping us get to a place where the homes work so much better for our lifestyle. “I own a 1910 colonial. It has many quirky and regular issues. Rocky, the owner of Empire Home Improvement, is a very knowledgeable, kind, caring, and efficient craftsman. He provides excellent service and workmanship. His crew have done various projects, new plaster ceiling, replacement of original outdoor overhangs and a new door. All projects were completed efficiently and with expert craftsmanship.”

“I'm happy to give Scott Curtice my strongest positive recommendation. Our project went quite smoothly, staying on schedule thanks to the fact that my office is in the house and Scott's commitment to providing a foreman. This enabled us to make decisions quickly and address problems promptly. Scott and his crew showed a lot of creativity in meeting our requirement to stay in the house during the renovation, to the extent of setting up a temporary kitchen and shower in the basement. In the end, we only had to be out of the house for about a week. He was also very good about coordinating with our architect and the cabinetmaker that we selected ourselves. Having heard a few horror stories of renovation cost overruns, I think we also did well in this respect. Our final figure was about 10% more than the initial estimate due to the kind of unforeseen issues that can be expected on any such project, along with a few changes that we ordered. The level of detail Scott provides in his constantly updated spreadsheet also helped us to make some decisions that reduced our cost.”
