“Michael is very knowledgeable with experience in carpentry and architecture. It was obvious that he keeps current with both subjects. This was apparent when he was able to list pros and cons of various ways of doing something. He is very open minded when it comes to trying something different from the mainstream. He is very good at reusing materials whenever possible. He did an excellent job utilizing every inch of space when feasible. He is creative and his craftsmanship is excellent. Michael created a very nice studio apartment for me to rent. Michael is very easy to work with and kept me informed at all times regarding budget, subcontractors and necessary changes . I highly recommend him.”

“My wife and I have been working with Michael Bauer for a few months now on the remodel of an existing home. It is a particularly challenging project as we are working with a very traditional designed home, but are wanting a more modern/minimalist facelift. Initially Michael is re-imagining the landscaping and outdoor functionality of our home with a focus on exterior presence and inviting spaces for entertaining. Next he will help us create a more flowing and lucid interior aesthetic with a focus on art presentation, and simple functional spaces. I have found Michael to be easy to work with and truly gifted in his ability to sculpt space. Although we are still in-process, Michael has earned my confidence. I am know that the project will be a success and that he will provide design solutions that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing with a modern/minimalist feel.”

“I was impressed with Handyman Matters owner, Steve Langton from our first meeting. He brought a craftsman with him who attended to surveying the work space while he listened very attentively to what we wanted done. The repairs were for a vacation home and so were done without us being there. Steve sent us pictures of the work as it was completed, and kept us informed in all matters. When we returned several weeks later, we found everything was done to our high standards. I would not hesitate to call an Steve again, or to recommend him to others.”
