I've been a builder north of Boston for years and have never had any issues sending my clients to this company. Great product selection and knowledgeable salespeople.
Company does not stand behind their product and warranties. When the products were sold to me they said that I would have a 5 year warranty. Now I am being told it was a courtesy warranty? Interesting never heard that and now I am being told that. Purchased 5 Jenn-air appliances 3 broke down less then 2 years. Tech came out 4 times with no solution and constant misdiagnoses. Replaced a valve with my old valve admitted didn't have a new valve!! Waste of money and time on my end. Tech called whirlpool for advice to fix cooktop CSR told him to go buy a pan and come back and tell me the pans are the problem not the cooktop. I heard with my own ears and tech confirmed. Reached out to owner for help never responded to any emails. Service department was has been rude unprofessional and caught in flat out lies from work done calls made...and they don't care. Final solution told me to call and deal with Jenn-air. Completely washed there hands from this issue.
When my 20 year old, built-in, microwave/convection oven died I Sears, Best Buy and several smaller, local places, but none of them were willing to bring a replacement and install it. They said it was too small an appliance, or it would never fit right, and the like, even though I said I was more than willing to pay for installation, that the measurements on the oven I found were extremely close to the original, and that the trim kit seemed like it would also fit. But they all declined to help me. They wouldn't even have their service bring the oven into my unit - it would be left by the door, and it weighed over 60 pounds! And, of course, none would remove the old oven. No one would help except Boston Appliance. Within three days, they brought the overn installed it, and put the trim kit back on. They took away the old oven and all the packaging. Their servicemen were cheerful, friendly, and helpful. I'm extremely glad that I found their ad online and will call them with any appliance issue I may have in the future. Nancy, Boston
Recently had a problem with our Blue Star stove, and I wasn't sure what to do and a friend of mine recommended Boston Appliance Product Care, and they came over the same day to do service and fixed the stove the same day. Top notch service at a very reasonable price, and would definitely recommend it for anyone having appliance problems.
I hired Boston appliance to fix a marvel under counter refrig. They came out charged $130. Had to call several times. They came back out. Refrigerater was useable they rendered it unuseable said they needed an additional part. Had to call three times before a call back was recieved. Waited 3 weeks for part. Had appointment to install. Never showed never called. Two weeks went by thenI fixed it myself. Incompetent and unresponsive bad combination
