NO customer service with overpriced appliances. Once they get the sale made they are not interested in returning calls. The appliance sales manager is rude and puts any problems back in the customers lap! FIRST AND LAST TIME WE WILL DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

I’m a professional building contractor and had CAFD install 2 fireplaces for me in a new home. (They have been supplying me and my customers with appliances for years now). This was a particularly challenging project, with 2 back to back units, 1 wood and 1 gas. Very tall chimney chase also made the job tough. The guys powered through and got it done before some impending bad weather. They came prepared and were a pleasure to have on site. Couldn’t be happier

We just bought a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer from these fine folks and they did a great job with us all the way. This was a no pressure, informative and educational experience. Never once did I feel as though we were being directed or influenced in any way. Always, this was professional from start to finish. The items were delivered as scheduled and the installation was handled in a clean and professional manner. We would absolutely purchase appliances here again and will very likely upgrade our fireplace through CAFD in the future. I particularly appreciated the professional qualities of Danica. She knew her product well and was well versed on all accounts. She was pleasant and responsive.

Horrible experience. The salesman didn't know what he was talking about. Ordered me the wrong item and wrong parts to install it. Had to have install parts shipped 3 different times before the right ones came, and then the salesman forgot to send them with the installer. The installation man was very nice but when I told him this wasn't the product i expected he told me it's because the salesman doesn't know how to install things so he probably didn't realize.

Over 12 months ago I walked into CAFD show room in Southington and was greeted by Sisto who assisted me in buying the PERFECT fireplace for my home. The CAFD selection was wonderful and Sisto was incredibly helpful in purchasing the fireplace. In addition Sisto made two personal visits to my home to ensure the fireplace was installed ready to go for a special party at my home. Cant say enough about the products and service of CAFD. I continue to receive many compliments on the fireplace.

Mystic River Building Company

We are builders of custom homes in Southeastern Connecticut. We have been working with CAFD since 2005 and have nothing but great things to say about them. The huge product selection, knowledgeable staff and their ability to fill orders complete 99.9% of the time is so important to our success that I just have to say thank you. The showroom is gorgeous and the friendly veteran sales people know their stuff. Southington is a bit of a haul from Southeastern CT but every client I have sent there has been totally satisfied and found it well worth the trip. Where else can you go and see such diverse product selections like GE, Viking, Wolf, Bosch, Heatilator Fireplaces and Home Theater under one roof? They even hand delivered a cooktop to a client in St. Thomas USVI for me a few years ago. Now that is customer service. Keep up the good work CAFD. Norton C. Commented: is that a downdraft behind it? If so what kind. I thought that GE did not have one to fit a range.This induction range is not compatible with a downdraft. The piece in the back of the glass is a vent needed for proper air circulation.
