Earl B. Feiden Appliance

Needed a service call for our refrigerator, which was performed by Derick. He was outstanding in every way! He called to inform us he was on his way, as he had promised the day prior. He was very personable and very knowledgeable. He listened to our description of our problem, and he explained what he was doing in his process, step by step, in understandable terms. He was able to identify the problem, explained the solution, and was very thorough in every aspect of our experience with him. Terrific young man that was comfortable to have in our home, and will be certain to request him, whenever we may need any service for any of our appliances.

We so enjoy dealing with Earl B (Sensitive Information Hidden) in Latham, NY. Ron (Sensitive Information Hidden), our salesperson, is more than knowledgeable and so very helpful. He sold us a microwave about a year ago and now a refrigerator just recently which we needed quickly. He bent over backwards trying to get it to us as quickly as possible. Roger & Keith (Truck3) delivered it yesterday and they were both so friendly, helpful and efficient. We had a minor glitch as I noticed later that the freezer door was not sealing on one side. We went to the store the next day and Steve, the parts manager(?), was here within hours and the problem was solved. Very easy to deal with these people and a pleasure to do business with them. We have not met an employee at the Latham store that was not smiling, helpful and more than eager to make us a forever customer. Thank you to all of you for making our life easier & less stressful.

I purchased a dryer at the Feiden Kingston location. It was delivered and installed by ANTHONY and ALEX on Sept 19. They were polite, personable, skilled and professional.

I’ve always used this great company for all my purchases and repairs. They show up on time, they communicate before and after service and are incredibly responsive. Always friendly and courteous and a good knowledge of what’s required. Recommended!

Appliances are beautiful but the customer service - especially install related issues - leaves a lot to be desired. It continues to be an incredibly frustrating experience. They installed our dishwasher but left without leaving the user manual or explaining why there were parts leftover, but most importantly what they with the did with a live wire that is under the dishwasher. We’ve been calling for weeks to try to figure it out and they haven’t called us back. The stove legs were installed unevenly and now we’re struggling to remove the left side to fix what they did.

Last week, our GE Dryer crapped out. It wouldn't dry. As dryers are expensive, we figured that we'd roll the dice to see if the dryer was repairable. We called out local plumber and they told us that they recommended Earl B. Feiden Appliance in Kingston, so we called them to set an appointment. On the agreed upon day, Service Tech BEN HUNTER arrived on time & inspected the dryer. He determined that the problem was a simple clog of the exhaust system that was actually inside the machine. He cleared it out and made a few minor adjustments. Mr. Hunter was very professional and when he was finished, he showed us what the issue was and the work that he had performed. If we ever need any repairs done to our home appliances in the future, we will definitely call on Earl B. Feiden Appliance!

Totally incompetent installers, terrible customer service. We made the mistake of buying a washing machine from Feidens. It took literally five visits by a series of incompetent installers over the course of three weeks for them to finally hook up the new machine. One particular pair of installers (whom the sales manager vouched for as highly experienced) punctured the hose attached to the machine and neglected to connect the other end to our drain pipe, flooding our basement. Every one of these visits required two or three phone calls as it seems to be company policy (from managers to dispatchers) not to return calls; likewise all assurances that technicians would call in advance of arrival were ignored. We thought we were doing the right thing by buying from a local, supposedly reputable business. Would have been far better off buying from a box store or even online. This company exhibits all the signs of a failing business.

I started working with Earl B. Feiden Appliance this year from my new showroom in Glens Falls. Already have had success with clients getting the selection and attention they need to make their new kitchen project a breeze. Feiden's has a terrific reputation as a long standing, family owned business, and I understand why - great folks to work with.
