Ordered a grill package from this company, had to pay for everything in full before product would ship. We spent almost $9,000.00 and the grill came incomplete and 3-4 months late, which pushed back the completion date of our clients project. Sergio said he would ship missing parts but they never came, we ended up purchasing the needed parts from a separate company. Never got a refund for missing parts and Sergio will not answer phone calls, texts, or emails. Communication with this company is great until they get your money. Would not recommend doing business with them.

Great product, horrible customer service. Before the sale Sergio was responsive and helpful. The kit arrived weeks late from what I was told, and did not have the oven door or tools that I had paid for. I was told that they would be shipped the next day. That was months ago. After repeated attempts at phone calls and emails requesting that he at least refund the money I paid for the tools, nothing. It’s like a black hole. Are they still in business? I love the oven, and the kit went together easily, thus the two stars. Sergio, you have a great product, but you should consider getting a responsible adult to run the business.

Not a Good Experience. This purchase started out with me sending an initial deposit. I was later told by my town I had to get a special permit due to the proximity to wetlands. I communicated this to Sergio. My project was put on hold until I received final approval. During the process they demanded the oven being 4" thick. Sergio replied back not a problem. Well luckily they didn't see an issue in the end of it not being 4" because he didn't send a 4" oven. He's unresponsive to emails or calls. I have friends that used other companies for their ovens and didn't have the issues I had. He wasn't someone who was available for questions during the build. If I waited for his response the project would still be ongoing. He sent the oven kit without the accessories. When we inquired about them, he simply didn't respond. He finally responded blaming his vendor. The door arrived was the wrong size and color. We reached out to him with no response to date. I've done many remodels/renovations in my day as a landlord/real estate investor. This has been by far the worst experience. Hopefully others don't go through this experience. If you're thinking about going this route, I would run as fast as you can. This is purely based off of my experience. Sergio is defensive and doesn't own his mistakes. Correcting mistakes seems to be last on the list of priorities. Prior to getting my money he was responsive and pleasure to talk to. That changed into the transaction from hell. Again this is based off my experience alone. Do yourself a favor and go with a company that's proven they value their customers. Fogazzo surely doesnt. I ended up reaching out to other companies who assisted during the build as Fogazzo/Sergio would go weeks without a response. As I mentioned, I'm still with a door which is the wrong size and color. True to Fogazzo/Sergio's form, NO RESPONSE!

We are very sorry that this customer feels that they received less than stellar customer service from us. We strive to do our very best for everyone, including all our customers, employees, and suppliers.

As a small business we know full well that every customer counts, and that this customer is no different. However, we also know that there are at least two sides to every story and, in this particular case, we honestly feel that what is being portrayed in this review is failing to fairly describe the circumstances accurately for both sides.

The customer had several unusual requirements and requests that we tried our best to fulfill even if it meant a greatly reduced profit for us. We spent an additional 20 man hours on their order to accommodate all their requests and time constraints, all free of additional charges.

When they presented us with what turned out to be a 6 month delay to conclude the order on their end, we were accommodating. Once they were finally clear to build and had paid for their order, the oven was delivered complete and in a timely manner, with the exception of the oven door and free accessories. When we delayed the shipment of the door we gave them a free infra-red thermometer as a thank you for their patience.

In the end they got everything they were entitled to including the correct size door (we only make one size so it's impossible to get that wrong) but of a different color than what he requested. A non standard color that would have further delayed the delivery of the door so we shipped it as it comes from the factory in red and requested that they paint it black on site.

In summary:

The customer is enjoying their oven purchased at a highly discounted rate, that was delivered on-time missing only the door, which was sent with extra items as a sincere thank you for their patience. Somehow that small mishap warrants only a 1 star review even if we had to wait 6 months to be able to ship their oven due to delays on their end.

Sorry, we will sincerely try to do better next time!

Fogazzo designed and constructed an outdoor kitchen in our La Canada, California home in early 2004. Our outdoor kitchen was built from the ground up by Sergio and his crew to our specifications and features a Model 1050 wood fired oven, DCS gas barbecue, stainless steel sink, refrigerator and plenty of storage space. The kitchen area is in a covered patio that has seating for up to 16 people. They later added a Model 303 fireplace sculpture as well. Overall we are very happy with our outdoor kitchen and particularly with our wood fired oven. Over the years we have had countless opportunities to use and enjoy the space, with our family and friends.

We moved out from our La Canada home, where we had an outdoor kitchen built by Fogazzo back in 2004. The outdoor kitchen and specially the wood fired oven, became such a part of our daily lives, that we wanted our new place to have an outdoor kitchen with a Fogazzo wood fired oven too. We contacted them again for the new project in late 2012. They came over and installed a new Model 855 treasure chest wood fired oven. This time they only installed the oven, they did not do the whole project because Sergio is not longer building full time. We absolutely love the new oven design, as it is more spacious than the older Model 850 we had, but it fits in the same space. We really love Fogazzo and the 2 jobs they did were great. We highly recommend them to anyone who wants a great wood fired pizza oven!
