zero stars, paid in full for a new kitchen worth of appliances, THEY said delivery date was mid august, never informed otherwise by them. When its time for installation - I was informed it would be October due to covid. No mention of covid when i paid for all of these very expensive appliances. No response from them, no communication. DO NOT USE THEM

Just OK. They have a good range of products so if your need is to physically see the things you want to buy - then, by all means, they're a good company.
But over all, we've found them to be lacking in terms of installation and service. The idea behind going with Kieffer's rather than a less expensive online company was that they are a local company and available to service our not inexpensive washer/dryer and dishwasher. We bought a Miele dishwasher (I think it was the diamond one) and Electrolux washer/driers. The idea on the washer dryer was that the doors could open BOTH from the left and the right and we were told when we bought it that they would be able to have the washer open from the left and the dryer open from the right to facilitate moving one load to the other.
Well, they showed up, installed and of course, that didn't happen. The man doing the installation said it was impossible and he knew nothing about our request.
The dishwasher has broken in one place and Kieffer's has said they don't service it. I don't know if this is bait and switch or if the left-hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Miele having independent service contracts? I don't know. I do know I'm not buying from Kieffer's again. In the future I'm going to find the least expensive, most reputable place and not worry about getting a local company if it's online it's online. If not, fine.
It vexes me though. I have no problem going with a local company that is more expensive because I want to support my local businesses and I think there is something to be said for employing someone at a good wage who will give back to the community but in all - there just wasn't any point. They weren't the least expensive and gave about as good customer service as any big box store or online retailer.
I know 2 stars is low but the Houzz tells me that stands for "Just okay. Could have been better" which is exactly the service we got.

I installed a new farmhouse kitchen in Chadds Ford this summer and purchased all my appliances with Kieffer's. The service was excellent and was treated extremely professionally by Conal Roney and their staff. Jace Kieffer did a great job helping remedy a problem with a Kitchenaid oven that we purchased. He stood behind the product and got someone out to fix the issue. This is why you go to a place like Kieffer's rather than the box stores.

We've been working with Kieffer's appliances for several years now. They are extremely knowledgable and friendly to work with. They have very competitive pricing and excellent customer service. One item we recently ordered was on back-order and was the only piece we were missing for completion of the home. They had it delivered as soon as they received it a couple days later to ensure we could have the home complete in time for our first Open House. I'm quite confident we will continue to work with them for many more years.

It's been an absolute pleasure working with Kieffer's over the years. They carry over 60+ brands, so it's extremely easy for our customers to select their particular appliance package. Their sales staff...including our rep, Dustin Stehr, has such great knowledge about all of the products they carry, enthusiasm for what they do and determination to find the right appliance package for any customer. Everyone that works at Kieffer's is so pleasant and willing to help answer any questions if our rep isn't available. The customer service they provide is first class, I always receive confirmation calls for customer deliveries. And the delivery guys are professional and take their time with every single appliance they bring into a clients home. Our first experience with Kieffer's many years ago was when we we had an issue with another appliance company's lack of response on a service call. Bad customer service. Wait time on most appliances three to five weeks. Was never able to give me any confirmation about delivery. Customer service seems to blame everyone else for their ability to get the appliances on time. Please take some personal responsibility

The product that you were interested in, unfortunately, was back ordered. When a unit is back ordered it means that the manufacturer has a void in availability and they are doing one of two things:
One: They are producing more units at their manufacturing plants. In this scenario Kieffer’s Appliances, or any retailer for that matter, does not have the authority or the ability to speed up the manufacturing process. Every manufacturer has production times and Kieffer’s Appliances has no power to speed up the process.
Two: They are shipping units to distribution warehouses. In this situation, appliances are in transit either by train, truck, or cargo ship. The product you were interested in was in transit from South Korea to the United States. When shipping overseas, there are a variety of factors that can affect when the appliance arrives in our possession. These factors include shipping lanes, loading/unloading at port, clearing customs, among other factors. Each of the factors listed above is beyond Kieffer’s Appliances control. We cannot control the access to shipping lanes on the open sea or the speed at which the cargo ship travels across open waters. We cannot control the speed at which cargo is loaded or unloaded from the ship and into tractor trailers for distribution throughout the country. We cannot control how the United States Customs Office handles their procedures when allowing product to enter the country.
Please understand that when back ordered appliances need to be manufactured and then shipped overseas, the process can take quite a long time, sometimes 12 weeks or more.
With all of the components listed above (and many more that aren’t listed), it’s very difficult for the manufacturers to pinpoint exact arrival dates. If we are unable to get a clear arrival date from a manufacturer, it would be impossible for us to provide a clear arrival date for our valued customers. We are committed to providing our customers with reliable information that we can guarantee because our reputation depends on it.
As each step in the shipping process is complete, an estimated arrival time comes into focus. That’s why you received a phone call from John Kieffer on August 23rd, 2013 stating that the cargo ship had arrived in port and then a second call by John Kieffer on August 26th, 2013 confirming that the product had indeed been unloaded from the cargo ship and was on its way to a distribution warehouse where we can then bring the product into our possession. As frustrating as a back ordered appliance can be, please understand that we did everything in our power to provide you as much information as we could as it became available to us.

I am sorry you are unhappy with our service and we did not meet your expectations. Due to Covid, the appliance supply chain has been decimated and created many challenges for the independent appliance supplier to provide their clients product on time and with accurate information.
The majority of appliances were available for the mid September delivery time frame that was adjusted from August, due to other construction delays outside of Kieffer’s. While there were a few back ordered products during the initial delivery, those back orders have been rectified by early October. The last product owed was a microwave, which is severely back ordered from the manufacturer stretching possibly into 2021. Kieffer's provided a complementary countertop microwave for you to use until the selected microwave arrives from the manufacturer.
Given the current supply chain struggles, we strive to provide open communication to our clients. We apologize if you feel you did not receive proper communication on your specific situation.
